Recommended for best protection
These were originally on my baby registry, but someone gave me the traditional plug inserts and I got away with those for a good while. Once my child became mobile he went right for the outlets and figured out how to remove them--so I upgraded to these. They have gradual edges so they are hard to force out with your fingers. You have to slide the button and pull on the tab to remove them from the outlet. I even have an outlet where the plugs are a bit recessed into the plate and I thought these might not work as well, but to my surprise they actually cover the gap well so they provide the same protection no matter how well the plugs sit flush to the plate.

Great product
These were so easy to use and put into the outlet. And they’re easy to remove. Definitely baby proof. Our baby isn’t able to pull them off at all. Recommending them to all our parent friends with babies!

Blocks cold air
I bought to block cold air coming thru the recepticle openings on an exterior wall. Work really well , but two complaints:1. I wish they came in boxes of 10 or 12..........I have more now than I will ever use2. They are really hard to remove when you want to use the receptable for appliances.But for my purpose of blocking cold air............really GOOD!!

Best child safety outlet plugs- easy to pull out without fingernails!
Unlike other child safety outlet plugs, this does not require fingernails to pry it off. It goes into the outlet easily, fits well- not too tight or too loose- and comes off by pulling the flipped up piece.
