Bought as a gift for April. Looks good. Ha e not tried out yet.

You get what you pay for.
Cheap as chips, I used the train on my grandsons bday cake, he played with it after & loved it.

Horrrible.
This is really horrible. I Did not have high expectations because of the price but it was worse than I thought. The parts are extremely flimsy and very plastic. This would not last the average day with the average child. The overall experience is horrible too. It iis attery operated I don't mind them not supplying batteries but the batteries go inside a section which is screwed in and they don't even supply a mini screwdriver to open the battery case. So imagine getting this on Christmas Day and you can't even get inside the battery compartment to put the batteries in . Overall a really poor experience.

Budget train set.
The media could not be loaded. The ADEPTNA Classic Kids Train Set is a little budget train set.It takes two AA batteries (not supplied) that sit in the main engine. To insert the two batteries, as per all children's toys that take batteries, there is a screw to access the battery compartment. This sits on top of the main engine. When unscrewed, lift the top off the engine to access the battery compartment. There is no screwdriver supplied as is the norm. As a mother of five and a grandmother of three, I've bought a lot of toys in my time, and I've never once has a screwdriver supplied to access the battery compartment. However, every household has a set of screwdrivers, so this shouldn't be an issue.There is a light on the front of the train but as you can see (hear) in the attached video, there are no sound effects.Quality wise, it is as expected for the price point.It does run a tad too fast I think as it does have a tendency to derail. One needs to just simply pop it back on the track again, but I suspect I child might get a little frustrated with the derailing.In short, it's not bad if one needs a gift and cash is a bit tight. However, don't have too high expectations and don't expect too much.I'd like to give it three and a half stars but can't, so I'll round up instead of rounding down.

The media could not be loaded. This train set is fantastic! It reminded me of my own childhood and my son absolutely loves it. The track is easy to put together, and the train runs on two AA batteries (not included).The carriages are really nicely painted too. It's a great gift for anyone, no matter the occasion.
