It took a while to decide on the model. But we don't regret taking the extra time. The toaster is of excellent design and quality. It's simple to use and to clean. And it works simply well. It looks as a much more expensive unit on our counter. We have an under counter spot light which illuminates the toaster from the top. And the inside of the toaster reflects the light as if it was lit from the inside. Overall we love how it looks, and how it operates flawlessly.

This toaster works well, it gives a nice golden color to the toast. It’s helpful to see (through the glass window) the toast to monitor the toasting progress, I’m glad I bought this toaster and recommend it.

I love! my new toaster. It’s just the right size and looks great in my kitchen. Hope it serves and lasts half as good as the 32 year old one it’s replacing.

toasts a little uneven

This toaster works very well at toasting my English muffins. The crumbs tray works well. And an elegant gold color on the front.

Well crafted, sturdy, and operates smoothly. Given the placement of heating elements at the top and bottom, edges do tend to brown quicker but the center seems to catch up quickly in line with the time allotted to the level of darkness selected. Spouse's satisfaction with the wide and long slot for use with various bread types overshadows the edge browning issue. Solid performer and would buy it again.

It only worked good for three months. Now doesn’t even stay on. Blinks the red light when I press the slice holder down but doesn’t hold it. Doesn’t stay on.

I found the window useful and liked the toaster’s operation for the most part initially, but the enthusiasm quickly faded. Pros: window feature is great. Cons: basket does not hold the bread erect causing it to tilt to one side resulting in one side partially burnt if the other side is properly toasted or one side underdone and the other side properly toasted. We use artisanal bread for the most part and the extra thickness and moistness required 1 1/2 rotations at the highest setting in the beginning, that evolved into 2 full rotations to properly toast the bread and now almost 6 1/2 months after receipt it is taking 3 full rotations to toast properly (on one side). I have to wonder when its elements will burn completely out.
