TESLA TOYS+ batteries for boys, AAA Maximum Power Alkaline Batteries, 10 Year Shelf Life, A Long-lasting Battery Life, Leak-free, LR03, 4 count [Pack of 1]

Premium AAA batteries.
This is a pack of 4 (AAA Alkaline) in an easy open blister pack. The brand is Tesla, who are a very long established manufacturer. They’re not to be confused with Tesla Motors, this manufacturer pre-dates Tesla motors by decades. I seem to recall they manufactured tungsten lamps as well in the past. These are exceptionally good quality batteries, designed for high drain / long life. I’m not really sure about ‘batteries for kids’ though. I would have thought that children should be discouraged from playing with batteries! The batteries are obviously well-made, and perform as expected, although I haven’t obviously tested for longevity, or extensively for heavy loads. The batteries appear well constructed. Being made in Europe (as opposed to China) does inspire a good degree of confidence as to quality. Only time will tell, definitively as to leak resistance, which can be a serious problem with cheaper batteries in items rarely used, and left for long periods batteries. The product description states ’over 10 year shelf-life’. However, the expiry date was difficult to find, but is on the battery end. 7 years (06/2030), but not 10. That’s more than adequate though. To summarise, these are good quality, European made, with decent packaging. They’re not cheap (£4.68 for a pack of 4), but this is a premium brand though, and the price isn’t dissimilar to Duracell.I hope this has been helpful

Misleading branding, but batteries work well, long shelf life, pricey.
I have these AAA TESLA TOYS+ batteries in the 4 pack.I can't understand why the description title says for boys...These alkaline batteries arrived nicely presented in the box.I found many mistakes on the packaging, especially in the translation.I like these batteries decorative design, they look nice and of a premium quality. These batteries are of a standard size, they work well in the toys, but I cannot confirm that they are better than others.I use them for about 2 weeks now and they are still going strong, so hopefully will last long.I can't understand why they use Tesla brand, is it part of the marketing to increase the sale?I haven't heard that Tesla-well known car brand is selling batteries. It is very misleading using the Tesla branding as Tesla Motors and this Tesla brand are two different companies...Nicely decorated batteries, perform well.A bit pricey compared to similar ones of a different brand, even on offer price is £1.17 per battery.Misleading branding, but batteries work well, long shelf life, so if the price isn't an issue I would happily recommend them.

Tesla makes batteries too!
This pack contains 4 pcs of AAA batteries for £6.99 currently. This is a very great value pack and is definitely worth the price.I have used 2 batteries and so far they are all working fine and have no issues. It’s always handy to have spare batteries because you can need them anytime. I need them often to put them in my children’s toys. These batteries have a very long , 10 year shelf life so it’s worth to buy more of these and stock them up.The only thing is that please be aware and take extra care if you have kids at home. Please make sure they don’t come in contact with these because they can put them in their mouth and even swallow because of the small size.Highly recommended this great value pack of 4 batteries.

Three times as expensive as Duracell's with no functional difference. Decent batteries though.
This is the first out of three packets of the Tesla batteries where the easy open tab actually did its job which was a pleasant surprise, on the other two it just snapped off or didn’t open the packet. This is the third pack of the Tesla batteries that I’ve gotten, these are the AAA version which other than size should be similar enough to the AA sized packs I’ve tried previously. The branding on the packaging and batteries for these toys+ versions still feels odd to me, I don't want my batteries to look even more enticing to young children than they already do.Like the two packets of AA batteries I tested from ‘Tesla’ I grabbed my multimeter and checked the voltage on them at full charge. They all measured out as what I'd expect and all four of them were in the region of 1.57-1.6 volts. The AA version of these has been doing well in my hive thermostat and these AAA ones have been working well so far in my multimeter. With how well they’ve been lasting in my thermostat I'm happy to say that these are in the same ballpark of quality as Duracell which is what I normally use for more demanding tasks like the hive thermostat, radiator valves and my multimeter.Like the other sets I reviewed the immediate issue with this product is the price, these are way more expensive per battery than even Duracell. The price has actually risen from when I posted that first review from £1.24 to £1.75 per battery which is insane. These are now triple the price of standard Duracell batteries and at best they equal them in quality and charge. They don't do anything that justifies the excessive cost. You can even buy the ‘premium’ double life Duracell optimums for 67 pence less per battery compared to these Tesla ones. I don't exactly understand where this brand is trying to fit in the market. There are many more affordable options out there for batteries that are surprisingly good for as little as 20–30 pence a battery.I don't personally rate the 10-year shelf life as anything worth caring about as I only buy batteries as I need them and they get used up well before shelf life ever becomes a concern. If shelf-life is of concern, again the Duracell's come with a 10-year shelf life guarantee and I'm willing to bet that Duracell is going to be around 10 years from now, this tesla brand? Who knows. Not recommended purely on the basis of cost as they seem to be decent batteries.
