There isn’t a lot of extra essence in the pouch once the mask is removed. The mask is in two pieces which is both good and annoying. There are a lot of plastic pieces folded up with the mask and having it in two pieces meant it was extra troublesome to unfold the slippery pieces to separate them from the mask parts. I had to be very careful to to let my nails cut the gel mask as it’s quite thin not thick as the picture on the package. I had to use scissors to make small cuts around the eyes and nose to get a good fit but that’s something I have to do for 99% of masks. After a few minutes of settling the mask stayed in place very nicely. It was very cooling and I love the fragrance. Visually the mask is so very pretty with little gold sparkles. It also has a lovely upscale type of fragrance that I enjoy and the fragrance didn’t irritate my skin. I think these masks would be a great addition to a gift basket as they are a little nicer than the typical face masks.

These face masks are working out great on my aging skin. You get a total of 5 masks, and each mask comes in two parts, one for the upper half of your face and one fore the lower half of your face. I usually relax and either lay or sit with the mask on, so that it stays in place for the 20- 30 minutes that it should stay on your face (per the directions). I must say my skin feels so incredibly moisturized, smooth, and firmer with more elasticity to it after using these masks. They are a little spendy in my opinion, however, they work wonderfully, and are well worth the price.

I received the gel mask pack undamaged in a plastic bag. All five masks were accounted for.This is the first time I have used gel masks. I have only ever used the cloth masks and they get pretty itchy so I only use them occassionally. So when I saw that these were gel masks and not cloth masks, I was interested.Each mask comes in two pieces (top and bottom portion) and are packaged in a liquidy pouch between two plastic sleeves to cling onto and separate the parts. The gel feels like some slippery thin silicone and sticks onto washed dry skin very nicely. And more importantly, they do not itch like the cloth masks! The gel masks are actually quiet cooling and comfortable!Overall I am very happy with these gel masks! They are far better than the cloth masks, but comes at a cost. They are far more expensive than the cloth face masks. However if you find some gel masks on sale, you should definitely give them a try! I would wear these every day as part of a routine if they were less expensive!

Do not buy, period. Those are make your face skin dry.

I'm in my mid-20s and still suffer from breakout-prone skin. I have been careful to not change up my skincare routine and haven't suffered from a breakout in a little over a month. I was hopeful with this product because of the hyaluronic acid and because it didn't have a strong scent coming out of the package. I washed my face before bed, then used this mask as directed. The next morning, I woke up with some new acne on my face. My skin does feel moisturized, so this product might work well for dry skin. If you have breakout-prone skin like me, I suggest looking for something else.
