I've always loved her books. They keep my attention.

This book can help anyone that has been thinking negative. I use to tell people you just need to think positive when all along I found out that I was thinking negatively and had no idea until reading this book by Joyce Meyers.

I always wanted to be closer to God and study and understand His word, but I couldn’t understand it because of the olden days language, but God has blessed her to be able to deliver the important parts of God’s message through practical modern day terms and I love it. It has helped me to overcome some of my most darkest situations that counseling, self help books and strategies couldn’t fix at all ! All of the determination within me couldn’t help me! All of the self help and works id the flesh books did NOTHING!As an independent and strong person, I could not overcome what seemed so to be so simple and logical ! Without Joyce reiterating “we can do nothing apart from God, “ I was lost!Thank you Joyce for your obedience! It saved my soul, my family and my business!!!!!!!!!!will could not help me through.

Great book.

I just started this study and I love it! Lots of practical stories that coincides with the Bible. The questions have a Biblical scripture to follow up on. Some of the question are personal so I can apply them to my daily walk with God. Great author!

Excellent book. It was definitely relatable and answered many questions believers have when freshly walking in Christ. I love the simplicity of the language and the flow of the book. The explanations are backed up with the word and examples are simple and understandable. It’s clearly written.

Regardless of your religious beliefs, it is a well known psychological fact that our thoughts can either propel us onward to victory or they can defeat us before we get out of bed.Despite what anyone has to say, it is arguably factual that Joyce Meyer is one of the most prolific Bible teachers of our time and while her audience is usually women, she put together a book that speaks to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or even religious preference."Where the mind goes, the man follows" is a profound revelation for anyone who is trying to find the answers to why their life is in such disarray. If we actively choose to direct our thinking to reflect the positive, we will find ourselves slowly, but surely, being separated from the negative.You will not find a person, alive or dead, throughout the span of human existence, who was able to get honey from a lemon. So true is the fact that you will not find positivity coming from a negative person.If you are a Christian and you are not living victoriously, get this book.If you aren't sure what you believe but you know that your brain is going through something and you want it to stop, get this book.If you have zero belief in anything, but you are having a hard time seeing the positive, get this book.No matter what you believe, there is a lesson for everyone on these pages. I read this 20 years ago and I am going through it again as a study with a small, yet growing group of people - all of which are actively seeking to end the war waged on the Battlefield of the Mind.

About the book: it is most definitely best to use the study guides Mrs. Meyer writes for her books, so if a book has a study guide I say - GET IT (Healing the Soul if a Woman is most excellent!) The thing is, in an effort to make a reasonably-priced package of both together, they used too small of pages. It is cumbersome to try to write in these, if they were a bit longer / wider , a little less thick, we could more easily use they study guide.This woman is fully anointed by God for healing and for bringing us nearer to Him. It is like she takes you by the hand, gently leads you closer and closer until she places your hand in Jesus' hand. I appreciate Joyce Meyer so very much, I have grown so much closer to the Lord as I also improve my own outlook on life. I went from a life time of deep depression and PTSD symptoms, to a vibrant energetic nice lady within about 5 years. I also got off all the medications.
