Excellent high quality delicious product
Great consistency. Easy to use in different recipes. I used as a thickener, to make flour free wraps and it works brilliantly. I use this as part of a healthy eating choice. The flavour is subtle which I like, and it tastes wholesome. I’m really pleased with the quality of the product and will order again.

Amazing for gluten free bread baking!
I know psyllium husk can be used as a food supplement that's incredibly good for you and your digestion because my doctor friend went on and on about it last time she visited me. And that's all lovely but it's not why we buy it. We use it mainly in baking and we couldn't live without it anymore because it helps you to make AMAZING gluten free bread! I have coeliac disease and have always hated shop bought gluten free bread. It got a little better over the years but it still sucks, compared to the 'real' stuff. Psyllium husk has been a complete game changer. We now bake bread several times a week and love the results we're getting. (check out The Loopy Whisk for recipes and her take on psyllium husk if you're interested in gluten free baking btw) This brand is good as it's the whole psyllium husk not the powder, so it's better suited for baking bread.

Just powder is not the best. 'Whole' necessary for various things eg bread.

Fine but could well prefer salts
I don't believe in using harsh laxatives which are bad for you for so many reasons. So I was prescribed osmotic gradient salts which, mixed with water and drunk, stimulate peristalsis. I find this works, so I was very interested to try the psyllium husk.I measured 5gms and found it to be about a level teaspoon. Then I added water to the mug and stirred. First I made the mistake of not drinking it quickly enough - and oh my goodness it turns quickly into a thick, very unappetising sludge. I didn't like the taste at all and I didn't like the texture. It was hard to get down, quite frankly, before it thickened so much it was a question of spooning it in.This is something you have to persevere with for a few days.I very much like the fact it is so healthy and natural, and I will continue with it and experiment in other foods like yoghurt, but as I do actually enjoy the taste of the flavoured salts I am not convinced I would change over.

Good quality
Bought this to mix with some medication I am taking at the moment which is a toxin binder. The side-effects of this medication slows down digestion. This has counted the problem and works like a treat. Doesn’t taste horrible at all. Seems very good quality.

Difference in colour and taste
Been buying this for years but I've noticed a change, the colour of it seems darker and it tastes different too, like theyre adding some dirty bits to the ingredient

Excellent product!
Add a teaspoon to a daily bowl of porridge and it’s amazing! Does what it’s supposed to do so it works. Excellent product.

Really helps with "baking a loaf"
Not much to write on this really other than it really has helped me with offloading some freight on a more regular basis.I take daily Omega 3 tablets but every single brand seems to use something in the softgel that causes me to stop producing cable normally.Adding this to my porridge seems to help reduce that problem as my fibre intake is pretty poor anyway. I just add a pinch to my porridge in the morning and next thing I know I'm like a brown dog scratching at the back door before setting off to sink the Bismark.
