My son wore this for the Pirates of Caribbean party aboard the Disney cruise. Big hit!

This costume is so cute. I never expect much quality from costumes but this pleasantly surprised me. My son will complain if the costume is uncomfortable and he didn’t complain about this one. He said it is pretty comfortable and he looks really good in it. The top is a little hard to get on but we managed to get it over a sweatshirt. I also have a hard time with pants staying on him because he is so skinny so I was pleasantly surprised that the pants fit him so nicely. He chose not to wear the boot covers but I think the costume is worth it even without them.

My seven year old is obsessed with pirates! We decided on this one because he really liked the hat on this one. After reading the reviews, some had a problem with the little white shirt underneath...we still decided to get it &I didn't really like the shirt either. On the 1st picture he has on the little white shirt that was sewn in it...the 2nd picture is after I cut that little white half shirt out &just decided to put him in a regular white t shirt &problem solved!!! The jacket &vest are made together but it looks &feels very expensive! The pants are thin &basic but no problems...the only thing I didn't really think that fit well were the boot covers. We got the medium size costume but the boot covers seemed like they were a size too small. Other than that it was a perfect costume &big enough that he will still enjoy playing a pirate for the next year!

Good for the price. Little bigger than expected but very fun

I bought 2 of these (used) and they worked okay, but compared to some other costumes I bought these were the lowest quality. I liked the styling and the price (used) was good. But working with the fabric to age the costume I could see a BIG difference between this costume and the others.The black fabric part of the jacket is a translucent loosely woven knit - so thin you wouldn't see it on a bolt in any fabric store. It reminded me of clothes they put on stuffed animals. Because of the texture and fiber content it is very hard to paint (to make it look dirty) yet it's super happy to grab onto random dust, lint, dog fur.The hat was a nice touch and probably more comfy than a stuff pirate tricorn hat. Pants were super thin and shiny fabric.This would probably work well for a warm Halloween area, you'd freeze to death wearing it in weather below 60, though.Oh - Size M barely fits a 5' skeleton, size L would be better.

This costume was purchased to use on a Disney Cruise vacation. It was of good quality, light weight enough to wear comfortably on a cruise, and fit as expected. We were very pleased with the effect and it looks great in the photos!

My son had to dress up as a pirate for pirates day. This costume came in time for the big day and had even withstood the abuse that little boys somehow manage to put their belongings through. I love how good it looked on him and it received rave reviews from a lot of people. The most important thing, in my opinion, is that it was super easy for him to put on by himself. This, as mom's of 6 yr olds know, is VERY important.

Great costume, my son wore it multiple times this Halloween. Fit great too. Only complaid in have is the gold fake buttons fall off very easily.
