Needles were super easy for 8-10 year olds to work with. They could thread them easy and they were forgiving for pokes and bends. I was afraid they'd be brittle but they had enough give and not one broke after some rough use by more spirited kids. Plus they are super vibrant and easy to find if dropped. Good product.

Just as described. Good quality material, I liked the options of the colors & they're the perfect size. I used these with our Sunday School class. They are 9 & 10 years old. Safe & perfect for our craft. I also crochet & these will be really nice to use in finishing off a project. I'm very pleased with this product & would recommend them to others.

Although these feel like they won't go through the holes of the mesh, they do go through. It's just a little harder. Advantages of these plastic needles over traditional metal ones: the kids can thread them themselves (HUGE advantage). When they fall off desks, they are easy to find. They can't hurt themselves or anyone else with them. The only disadvantage I found, is that in the beginning it takes more strength than they are used to, so some of them resort to pulling them with their teeth and they get quickly chewed up and bent out of shape. They are sufficiently inexpensive that I just buy many more than I need.

Just what I need and a great price

I am an art teacher and bought these for my students to learn embroidery with yarn. They were perfect. I like how easy they are to find if they fall on the floor. Large eye that is easy to thread with yarn. Perfect.

Love having different colors

Just kept looking at my usual haunts where I buy yarn and all the yarn needles I saw had those big heads that make no sense to me because they're hard to pull through the knit stitches. (What are those things for anyway??) The metal ones all had weird points. Overkill. So kept looking for a long time. Then finally I lost (down into sofa-land I'm sure) my LAST good plastic needle that I was treating like gold so I went on Amazon. Was skeptical, but these things are PERFECT. For me anyway. Just like my fave lost needle but better! It's better quality plastic and has the tiniest bit of flex to it that doesn't flex when you don't want it to. Anyway I bought 50 so unless I lose them all into the sofa I'll be set for quite a while.
