Ross Nutrition Juven Orange 30 pckts

I am not a doctor by any means but I sure am happy with my progress of mass generation of tissue. This product is promoted heavily by the wound clinic I am going to and I really do seem to be making good progress at a better rate than I or they expected.The flavor is not bad but I do recommend mixing it with a little on the high end of water. I use 10-12 ounces and it tastes ok to me. I have tried the fruit punch and the lemon with the lemon being a better choice in my opinion. This stuff is a little pricey but I see it as a lesser amount of healing time and so I drink it twice a day as instructed by the clinic.

I first found out about this product when I was hospitalized for a surgery. The dietician reviewed my case and recommended Juven, which is made by Ensure. It contains some proteins that are an aid to healing. I have used it several times and have always been pleased with it. It comes in with plain, or flavored. I find it a little bitter, so I add Stevia or sugar (as you would in coffee).

A step backward in my garden had my right foot and leg going down an old post hole that had been “marked” with a metal t-post — the kind with a metal stability shield at its bottom! Gashed up my foot and slit my leg — one really nasty, contaminated wound that needed serious healing. I bought this for my husband. A little pricey but he likes the orange flavor & I feel it has helped with his wound recovery. Doctor & home health care nurse are very pleased at how fast he is healing. He was taken off the wound vac sooner than they thought he would be. I think Juven is the reason. Of course I can’t prove it but I’m glad he has it.Delivery was really fast! Happy I bought from this seller. Thanks guys!

I accidentally charged my order on my debit card instead of my credit card. I needed to change the payment method but was not allowed (I had just ordered the product within 45 minutes when I tried to change payment). Amazon said they could not (because it had to be changed within the first 30 minutes). I explained that it would put my bank account in the red. The Amazon rep said there was nothing she could do but connect me to the seller. The seller was less than helpful when I explained my dilemma and downright RUDE. Since today is Sunday, I can only hope that someone at the seller's company can resolve this. I will update.

I'm a long-term care nurse and have noticed multiple medical doctors ordering Juven for elderly people with wounds of varying degrees. Earlier this year, my husband was scheduled for a pilonidal cystectomy -- a surgery to remove a cyst from the tailbone region, and a procedure which is notorious for its wound-healing complications. He is a healthy 29yo but I hoped to ensure that he would not suffer complications so he could get back to work -- the recovery period is a minimum of 3 weeks' bedrest! We used two boxes of this over a 6-week time period; he has healed excellently, pleasing his surgeon and literally amazing other physicians who are familiar with the complexity of this type of surgical wound and its healing process. I don't know what his results would have been without the Juven, but I'm glad we didn't take a chance... this stuff is wonderful.
