NeumannSG 2 Stand Mount

Bought this as a gift for someone that has the Neumann TLM 103. It fits the 103 perfectly but does not fit the U87 AI. Solid build but you are paying extra just for the Neumann name. Much like Mercedes floor mats cost much more than Toyota floor mats. But hey, you buy a microphone that will last decades, why not get the mount thst is made to fit?

At first I thought the price for this mic mount seemed a bit ridiculous but once it arrived the reason for the price was evident. The mount is all metal and quite hefty when held. It threads on to the mic with ease, has a rubber gasket where it touches the mic and the joint is firm but can be easily adjusted. You can really feel the quality when you hold it in your hand similar to the microphones it is designed to hold. While my mics came with the suspension mounts there are times when they are not practical especially when close mic'ing instruments or with pianists who sing while playing. Sometimes its nice to have the mic connected directly to the stand without any obstructions and this clip does the job well.

The media could not be loaded. I liked how simple this design is. However this doesn’t fit any of my set-up. I have an at2020 microphone and a pro line mic stand.. I’m sad man. I just want to get a decent looking mount that fits

Fits 5/8 thread and screws in to the Neumann tlm 49 , bought this for the kaotic eyeball fat boy . Sturdy and def not close to cheap feeling it’s solid

What can I say, it's a Neumann OEM part so it was perfect.
