They also work on poly b pipe.
I live in a manufactured home which was built in 1990 and has gray polybutylene pipe for the plumbing. The crimp type connectors started failing almost immediately and i started using these for the repairs. None of these have failed since I started using them in the early nineties. Good product and easy to use.

Peace of Mind
If you want to end those leaks from pex crimp fittings, these are these answer. Are they expensive? Yes. Are they worth every penny of cost? YES ABSOLUTELY!Leaks in your RV water lines are not only disruptive to a vacation.... they are destructive to an RV. Leaks can cause mildew which, most importantly, is really bad for your health. Secondly, the odor of mildew seriously lowers the resale value of an RV.I've used these fittings over the past 20 years to replace pex crimp fittings. I've never had even one of these fittings leak. You will need to warm the end of the pex slightly with a hair blower or better yet a heat gun to make for easy instalation.I give these a solid 5 stars 🌟

Great for a quick fix
Fittings worked as they should. No tools required. As other people have said, just put them hand tight. Anything over will cause it to leak or crack the collar. I gave them a 4 star for two reasons: the flare was not as shown in the pictures. They were more sunken in. Secondly, for the price of these fittings, if you are changing out a few, it is cheaper to buy the crimp tool, rings and put brass fittings. These are great for a quick fix when you have no crimp tools handy.
