United Scientific LCV108 Glass Double Convex Lens, 100mm Diameter, 200mm Focal Length

I bought this lense for my grand-daughter, so she can use sunlight to set fires. I hope to see her become an engineer or mathematician.

This is not the same glass used by renown photographer Sam Hurd! I put it in front of my lens and everything was completely blurry. I thought otherwise would be the case; however, this company is EXCELLENT about returns and gave me no hassle.

This was an oops purchase. I wanted to find a lens to spin tops on and ended up ordering this based on its size. Still it's a decent lens and I've thought of several things to use it for.

Great product for the price.

Hoping to start fire. The cards are better. It does work but it's difficult. Great at magnification though.
