I have used the DVD associated with this resource on several occasions - clips in sermon illustrations, and as a small group study. The combination of the DVD and Participant's Guide provide a very flexible tool for use by care group facilitators in preparation and presentation of the study. Segments, prep. material, and questions are engaging.PJ

Wisdom dispensed using game playing analogy - giving the perspectives relate-able, fun and super clear. I love it so much that I bought 10 copies and gave them as birthday presents to my small group.

We purchased a set of these books for our church small group to go along with the videos. As far as the videos, Mr. Ortberg is dry and never cracks a smile...even when joking. As far as the study guide books, the questions are worded poorly and answer themselves. The activities are not practical for a group setting...they would be much better done individually. Our group can't wait to be finished with this study and move on!!
