Exceeded My Expectations!
After reading some of the negative reviews on Amazon about this product, I decided to take a risk as it looked like just the kind of dashboard mount I was looking for: one that can hold an iPhone 7, 8, X without problems and include some storage space for coins that doesn't block visibility.Upon unboxing the product, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the silicone material used to make this product. I was more expecting a plastic feel and ended up impressed by the solid rubbery texture. It feels soft on the surface but firm as a product in your hand. It has a wide enough girth to it that it feels weighted and stable.I should preface this review by saying that I am using one of those Handsfree brand non-slip mats on my dashboard with this mount being placed on top of the Handsfree mat to increase grip to the plastic dashboard surface. So far, I detect no movement of any kind so maybe that is how I am mitigating what is described in the negative reviews on here. The elastic grips encased within the silicone rubber material that holds the phone in place horizontally is well made! Again, better than I had expected and my iPhone 7 fits perfectly, even though my phone is encased in it's own silicone case. The storage space is small and just enough to hold coins and a small pencil. Perfect for what I was looking for there too!All in all, I find that this product has exceeded my expectations in all aspects and consider this to be a good buy! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a low profile mount that doesn't use adhesive. If you do encounter the issue of the mount sliding on the dashboard, maybe add an anti-slip mat for $5 and I think it would eliminate any weaknesses that this product has in it's design. I would say, the pro's outweigh the con's for sure.

It Doesn’t Stick!
Having purchased two of these phone holders and having them for a month, I must say... What were they thinking?!?! Seriously how are you going to make a dashboard phone holder that slides around the dashboard? Doesn’t everyone know that anything not welded, glued, taped, seatbelted or placed in a cup holder is dangerous during driving?!?! Worst of all on the dashboard! An area designed to be smooth and uninhibiting for aesthetic and driving reasons. I was depressed😑When I first read the description and the claim to fame of no-glue stick formula I figured hey they discovered a material that effectively bonds or binds with the dashboard w/o glue or two-sided tape which would make it easy to relocate item if you choose to. Plus good reviews on amazon - another risk in itself for believing - so okay great gonna buy! From the unboxing I said no way this little smooth area can produce a ‘non-stick bond’ to the dashboard, but since I’m no scientist I said maybe it uses friction or something. I cautiosly placed it in a area of the dashboard which it was unlikely to slide within the wrap around instrument cluster of 2012’s Honda Civic. It held up well i.e. w/o a phone. But as soon as I placed my behemoth, Galaxy S8+ in it, it was slipping and sliding like Trick Daddy old record label. Even tumbled over under heavy braking and accelaration.I wasn’t having it, contacted Amazon immediately about the shortcoming, for which they let me keep items at a discount, and then I remedied the problem with some good ol’ 3M two sided tape. Voila, hasn’t moved since! Otherwise, this liitle phone holder is well built, durable and feels great to touch. Relatively cheap and about the right size. Could be a little more compact though. If they find a way to actually keep it from moving around like maybe using actual glue that won’t damage the dashboard, then I would recommend.Thank you for reading, stashystash™

Great little phone holder
Since the state I live in has passed a hands free law I ordered this in case I need to use maps to get me somewhere. It works nicely since my dash is texture and I don't want to use my ac vents. It also allows me to use the charger while using my phone to preserve my battery.

Works perfectly, easy to use
I wanted a phone holder that was not plugged into an a/c vent or attached with any tape. This unit has a silicon surface that I was able to place on my dash and it stayed put with no issues. I do NOT use my phone in the car for anything other than map directions. I liked that it was on my dash which allowed me to see the directions on the map without removing my eyes from road to look down somewhere. It held my Samsung S9 in landscape mode easily and the charging cord reached easily.

Stays put, keeps phone in view.
This phone holder is a good buy. It holds its position on the dash well and keeps the cord from falling to the floor when disconnected. It also keeps the phone in place. I’ve using it for a while now and have had zero issues with it.Only negative is that it will only work in horizontal position which is fine for maps but when you recieve a call the phone display doesn’t stay landscape. I didn’t deduct my rating for this as I see that as more a phone design issue.

Exactly What I Needed
I will admit that this item sat in my cart for quite a while because I was hesitant to give yet another car phone holder a try. But I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this product is actually very well made. I was immediately impressed by the packaging, and the solid feel of the holder. The sticky back adheres very well to my slightly-curved, lightly-textured dashboard. It holds my phone securely in place, and now I don't have to look down (and away from the road) while I'm using my GPS. It turned out to be exactly what I needed!

Works Well for Navigation
This holder works about as well as could be reasonably expected. It holds onto my textured and dusty dashboard pretty well, but you have to find a good spot for it and it can't be angled downward at all or the first time you accelerate hard, the phone will bend the holder and everything will fall to the floor. The phone also becomes less stable when the car is going uphill, but for navigation on the highway it works quite well, and that's mostly what I wanted it for. If there was a bit more rigidity built into the base and phone bracket, I think it would make five stars.

Great mobile holder
This is a great phone holder for the pricePros- no clips to hang from the vent (which broke my vent blades)- the glue is good, clean the surface of the dash with alcohol wipes, let it dry and then stick it on. For me it has not moved yet. It does get a lot of sun and heats up. Home that the glue still holds up.- the material is very soft, non scratching rubber. The phone even with the cover fits in well.- when you unplug the phone, you can suspend the cable with the holes provided, that keeps the cable suspended and easy to plug in the next time you keep you phone.- there are small 3 compartments at the back of the case. They are good for keeping cables or anything small and important. Almost like a hidden chamber.Cons- none so far. The case holds the phone well.I like it compared to the ones which hang from the windshield or are plugged on the AC cents. I broke my vent blades taking out one case once. With this case I hope I don’t even get a glue mark.If you liked my review please click “helpful” button so that it’s visible to other buyers.

Pretty Good
I've only had this a few days so I'm hoping it will perform well and give me no issues.Originally I was concerned that it's very lightweight (6.1 oz) and on the small side. However the sticky part on bottom is sticking to the dash and though the unit is small. the iphone 6sPlus and the 7" Garmin GPS fit into the slot *but* in order for them to stay put you have to slant them on an angle otherwise they are too much at at 90 degrees (straight up and down) which means your phone or GPS pops out when you hit a bump. In that regard the design could be better. What works is to angle the unit as soon as you put it in the slot. It seems to hold and once you do this it works find and doesn't fall. I'm hoping that I won't have any issues with the sticky part on bottom.

Great product , way better than suction cup and vent hold styleb
Looking for similar dashboard phone holder for a while and finally find this one. Price wise is a bit high. I do not like those suck up at windshield because it always lost suction power over time and drop down. Also unlike those stick at ventilation vent because heater at winter time always the phone overheated. this one firmly hold the phone on dashboard and easily can be removed and store in glove box to avoid direct heat or cold. Only uncertain is how durable the silicone a the bottom that can attach on the dashboard, have to use and observe. Other than this, the car holder is amazing and it definitely fit any phone. Mine even with a think phone case also fit. Highly recommended.

Best dash phone holder out there!
The whole stand is made of a silicon like material, and there are no hard plastics. My dash is slightly curved, but the whole suction cup has still held on tight. The pattern also matches the OEM dash material pattern. Phone feels securely held in place even while turning, driving on bumpy roads and while braking. I love that it's pretty sleek, and your phone comes in and out of yhr stand super easily with minimal suction cup/vent clip hassles. Only downside is that phone cannot be held in portrait mode - however I mostly use my phone for navigation so it works out well.

Not Returnable but Not Advertised as Such
UPDATE: Product is awful and you cannot return the product! Tried to stick to my dashboard but would not adhere and first time I turned a corned it ended up on the floor. THERE ARE NO RETURNS BUT THAT IS NOT ADVERTISED!!!!!!!I think this product has the capacity to work really well however, I use an iPhone 6 in a defender Otterbox and it does not sit very well in the space provided. In order to use the product, I will have to remove the phone from its protective cover. Also, it is approximately 5 inches wide so you must make sure you have the space on your dashboard. I have a RAV and it is a very tight fit and the product must be placed at an angle.
