Rainpoint Water Timer with Brass Intet

The timer is easy to program, but it is important to read the manual on the initial installation. The manual tells very clearly about initial a self testing procedure. If you don’t do that procedure then the timer won’t work. I love the intuitive nature of the round dial. I am only using two stations right now because it is really hot here. I’m waiting until fall to plant more shrubs and use the other two stations. The quality seems very good and there are absolutely no leaks. The manual says that there is a programmable rain delay, which is a nice feature. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Easy setup and this worked flawlessly for several month. However, one day out of nowhere, it failed and started leaking. I contacted their customer service and got a response within hours. I gave them a some information and they quickly processed a replacement with no hassle. Item failed on August 1st and I had a new system at my doorstep the morning of August 3rd.It's seems rare to have a company that stands by their product and IF it does fail, they won't try to find a loophole to get out of the warranty they promise and they will quickly replace the item with no hassle. I will definitely stick with Rainpoint from here on out.

This sprinkler works great so far. No real complaints. Only drawbacks are how big the unit is and the manual watering isn't the most convenient to get to. The size isn't really too much of an issue but some of my hose bibs are at weird angles so it wouldn't work for all of them. As I hand water off of it, I solved the problem by putting a wye above it and just using that. Manual option works fine, it's just a pain and I'm lazy. Other than that, it works great and my plants are happy.

This product is a solid choice to water your garden areas. As a novice I chose it after researching my options. It is easy to inttall with little fuss and a great choice to schedule good watering times. It also has options to water manually, which I do with one of my hoses. This allows me to water porch plants separate from garden plants. The other hoses lead to three different areas in my garden separated by walkways. I can recommend this setup for those who want to try out their own watering system.

Was super excited to get this four zone timer. Chose it over the Eden brand to replace the two zone timer that lasted and worked like a charm all last year. Set all my Eden hoses up and was anxious to get to watering. Well this timer cracked internally and sprung a leak within one day of use. Amazon was quick to replace it and then the seller alerted me that the replacement was delayed indefinitely due to “supply chain issues”. Moving on to a better and more reliable brand.
