I have a desk job, am 65 and have an injured back, so avoid lifting weights. But I want to tone up my upper body.This ticks all the boxes. Plus it is easy to adjust for my girlfriend, or between easy for warm-up and harder for the workout etc. You can easily find the point at which ten repetitions just begin to tax you.It really wins by being handy to keep with me, even at my work desk. If I want a snack I do ten repetitions first ! That makes me use it through the day, and reduces the number of thoughtless impulse snacks. I wouldn't be carting a set of weights round to do that.It looks robust and well made. I'm starting at level ten of twenty so there is plenty of headroom as I get stronger. Man, setting 20 is ... impossible. I can well believe the claim that it is 400lb resistance. It's not linear because setting ten does not feel like 200lb. But the higher the setting the more the resistance and that is all that matters.It reliably gives the same effort when you set it back to the same number.

Nice bit of kit. Easy to use and a good price. Just toning up a few muscles to keep me a bit fitter. As Im getting a bit older. And my jobs are getting easier. So not using all my muscles. Thanks.

Arrived quick and on time.Seems very sturdy and good quality so far.I was pleasantly surprised at how much effort it takes to squeeze the handles together on the higher settings(perhaps I have just become weak)..I see that has a big plus, as it provides something to work up to - I was concerned it would be too easy - I needn't have worried.

All the way to 18 with ease... 20 was tough but the handles bent straight away... lasted all of 2 mins... handles need spacers to reduce flex

I liked the feel of this exercise equipment but after just 2 weeks of moderate use the piston was leaking oil. Returned and waiting refund.

My OH purchased this for using as part of his exercise programme, so far he is very impressed with it. It is strongly made and robust. The adjustment of resistance is great, making it easy to use for a novice or the more experienced who require more resistance. Would definitely recommend.

Sono rimasto sorpreso da questo attrezzo, regolato a metà è parecchio tosto (ho circa 100 kili di massimale panca), al massimo dovete essere un omone di 150 kili per chiuderlo. Fatto dopo esercizi di spinta è un ottimo finisher per la parte superiore simile ai cavi ma più impegnativo, a me piace moltissimo

Works the shoulders a d chest really well. I do these in between sets on chest day. Worth every penny

The grip is very comfortable and with multiple resistance levels, will make a great exercise tool for whole family.I have kept this near my office desk so that I can quickly grab it for a quick workout between meetings.It is very compact as well, you can easily travel with this anywhere you go.
