Great Durability
This tape measure is my favorite. The lock feature is my favorite about this product. It is also very durable. I have dropped this tape from up on a ladder and it still looks and works great!

Quality
Higher quality than expected, the push to play locking mechanism is excellent.

Not as expected, but functionally worthwhile and a respectable addition to the toolbox!
At first I did not like this tape measure but after having it for many months now I have found it quite handy! I was expecting a tape measure with 12 inches per foot and ten marks per inch. To be clear, this tape measure is not what I expected. Rather: One side has regular measurements (12 inches per foot) while the other side has the zero to ten scale out of one foot (10 units per foot being: 12 inches, with 5 units being: 6 inches. Each unit has ten marks. Makes it easy for a notice to make good measurements but for experienced craftsmen you will find that from time to time accidentally taking readings off of the 10 scale side to throw you for a loop.Unlike many tape measures I have used I like that I can hold the lock button to pull the tape out and it will stay out until I release the lock button, makes taking measurements a breeze!Four stars: Ultimately it was not what I expected as far as measure scales go, but the overall construction is great quality and the way the tape measures lock function works make it worthwhile and respectable to have in the toolbox!

Great. Works well. Updated at 14 months
Great. Works well, even when dirty. Lasts longer than other tapes that cost more.Update: The tape lasted about 14 months with regular usage. Dirt and mud are what finally broke it. If you use a tape regularly like I do I suggest you give it a squirt of WD40 periodically.Update: one of the tapes broke after the first use. The button broke somehow. I've owned several of these and that's never happened.

Lovely Tape Measure for Surveying
I survey and don't like the normal locking mechanisms on the standard tapes since it can be a problem when trying to measure the H.I. That's where this one has the auto/self locking mechanism that I love also makes it feel smoother and more higher quality compared to the normal tapes. Also this isn't metric for the few I've seen mention it on similar tapes, it has Standard Inches and Engineering measurements which is in 10ths and 100ths of a FOOT.

Good, easy to use tape.
This is my favorite tape measure. The lock feature works well and it retracts readily, but not deadly.

An all Surveyor's must have Tape Measure.
The media could not be loaded. I have been surveying for 30 years and this is the only GOAT tape that will last, but when I do stormwater GPS mapping it only last for one year's because I bend, bend, bend it, submerge it in 36" of rainwater (Drying it off between the thighs of my pants before retracting) and test it beyond its means. My SL2825IE's usually break/eroded apart at the 2ft mark. Get It Surveyor's. Always scribe the date on your Equipment/PPE to see how long it lasts.
