I have had no issues fitting this to my bike. It has provided a strong and secure protective layer. I have applied this by spraying the area with soapy water so I could position the tape accurately and then used a heat gun and a cloth to smooth out the tape. The finish is really good even on a Matt finished bike. Cut the corners of the tape so they are no pointy that way there is less chance of peeling or catching. There is plenty of tape to do the whole bike too. Not like with the protection kits you can buy this will do all the areas of the bike you need to cover.

I've used this on my gravel bike. Mainly replace the chain stay protecive strip that came with my bike.Very easy to trim with scissors and only becomes sticky once you remove the adhesive's protective film.Stuck to my frame really well and seems a lot thicker than what came on my bike. Had to be carefull not to get any air bubbles or dirt trapped under it. But, other than that, was very easy to apply. Jsut make sure your frame is clean first.I'll probably add a bit more to other areas of my bike that need it. Would definitely recommend.

This product is not ideal for frame protection. It is very clear but the adhesive turn to gelly when warm and worse when hot.
