All functions are awesome and as described on this item. Only two snags: the base is a little plasticy but it has held up ok. The other is a bit more concerning. Along the base of the kettle a very slow leak formed. A table spoon comes out over the corse of the day. This might be specific to my unit.

Don’t be fooled, this product dam near killed me. First boiling test it bubbled over (and it wasn’t even half full), spreading water all over the electrical sockets in my kitchen.Also the menu and the kettle button mechanism does not match. I have a sense that the seller needs to review what they are shipping with the manufacturer because there are some significant concerns here.This is not it.

The Hojocojo electric gooseneck kettle is first of all so pretty. It looks very, very lovely. I can't gush enough over it. It looks good on a kitchen countertop. It has a classic yet sleek design and the slim gooseneck is very elegant.The handle is ergonomic and has a good grip. It is heatproof and so is the lid pull. No risk of burning your hand by touching the lid pull.The kettle is square shaped and has a capacity enough for 2-3 people. This is perfect for my needs. The kettle is also light even when fully filled. Be careful though as some water can pour out through the top of the kettle.The best feature is the temperature control. As a tea and coffee lover, my traditional kettle doesn't allow me to set the temperature so I have to guestimate it. No more! I can now set the exact temperature by turning the dial button. The kettle also has a timer and a keep warm function.It does take longer to boil than a traditional electric kettle though but it's worth it and only a minor inconvenience in my books.I love this kettle and highly recommend it.

I have recently started paying more attention to the way I am brewing my tea.When you start being interested in these details then you realize that you will also need a kettle that can boil the water to a specific temperature and also pour in a certain way.This kettle does a good job of these particular things.It is made of stainless steel which helps with preserving the flavours of the brew. It has a fingerprint resistant matt black finish which complements very well the rest of my kitchen.It has an ergonomic handle which gives the kettle a great balance when pouring and with a gooseneck spout which is indispensable for a good water flow.The particular shape of the spout accommodates for a constant pouring flow, helping it to stay unbroken even when poured from a height as a precise pouring is necessary for a good flavour extraction.The body of the kettle sits on a square base which is provided with a display and a control knob.To knob is what I use to control the temperature and adjust it depending on the type of brewing I intend to do, for example black tea and coffee requires a water temperature of approximately 90 degrees Celsius, whereas green tea needs a water of approximately 80 degrees.When desired temperature is reached, the kettle will be signing that the boiling has completed and from this point on it will proceed to only maintaining it warm.The a kettle is of a good one litter capacity which is more than the capacity of this type of kettles.The water will take longer to boil then regular kettles as I have noticed that this specialist kettle is more gentle with the boiling process.When the required temperature or 100 degrees Celsius is reached, the kettle will automatically shut off.I find this kettle easy to work with, of good quality and it has elevated my brewing experience.

This kettle is gorgeous to look at. It looks like a high-end premium kettle, with a lovely black finish and a stainless-steel interior. The gooseneck pourer is attractive, a delight to use and gives control over pouring. This is something that will not look out of place in the dining room rather than the kitchen and that is where I will be storing mine.The unit itself is very easy to use, you select the ON/OFF switch and adjust the temperature to the desired temperature, using the dial around the button and that is displayed on the LED display. When setting the temperature there is an LED indicator showing that this is the set temperature.A very nice feature is that the LED display then displays the current temperature, so you can see it counting up to the desired temperature as the water heats. When it is showing current temperature its shows a little icon indicating that it is display current internal temperature. The kettle holds one litre and the water heats quickly.Once the heat is reached there is a keep warm button and this can be selected either while it is heating or after it has reached the temperature to maintain the temperature at that given heat. I had a smart plug attached and the keep warm function uses little energy as it is inactive 95% of the time (probably even more than that) and when active uses a fraction of the heating wattage (250w-300w compared to 1400w) to keep the temperature maintained. I assume this must mean that the kettle itself is well insulated. I am sure the gooseneck spout helps in that regard.This is a delightful kettle that is a both a pleasure and simple to use. The product is well priced.

Se trata de un hervidor de agua que se diferencia de los demás por ser regulable, es decir, que nos permite elegir la temperatura exacta a la que queremos el agua, algo que es muy poco común.Se presenta en una caja de cartón serigrafiada con la imagen del hervidor. No es una presentación espectacular, pero quedará bien si se quiere para regalar.Dentro de la caja encontramos el hervidor, con su tapa y su base, así como la documentación y una hoja con una tabla de temperaturas en función de la bebida que vayamos a preparar.La documentación está escrita en varios idiomas, pero esta hoja con las temperaturas está solo en inglés.Tiene una capacidad de 1 litro, así que es un hervidor de agua más bien pequeño, así que salen unas 3 tazas. Por tanto, es para familias pequeñas, pero le falta capacidad si lo quieres para mucha gente.A pesar de ser pequeño, por el diseño que tiene hace que ocupe algo más de espacio a lo ancho de lo que suele ser habitual. Esto se debe al diseño de la boquilla por donde sale el agua, que es una especie de tubo delgado y curvado que sobresale bastante, pero que hace que salga un chorro delgado y constante, fácil de controlar y que es muy interesante si preparamos un té matcha o algo por el estilo, ya que va muy bien para airear.Estéticamente es muy llamativa, ya que recuerda un poco a una tetera antigua, de color negro.Pero lo que lo hace diferente a otros hervidores es su base, que a través de una ruedecita te permite elegir a qué temperatura quieres el agua, y una vez alcanza esa temperatura, tiene la función de mantenerlo caliente. También en la base encontramos una pantalla que te va diciendo, a tiempo real, a qué temperatura se encuentra el agua.Por contra, debo decir que el tacto que tienen estos botones de la base no me acaba de gustar, dan la sensación de ser un poco frágiles.En conclusión, se trata de un hervidor de agua original que, a pesar de tener poca capacidad, cuenta con funciones avanzadas muy difíciles de encontrar en otros aparatos de este estilo. Lo recomendaría especialmente a aquellas personas que les guste mucho las infusiones y quieran tener este control sobre el agua que normalmente no puedes tener.

Anche se il titolo del prodotto riporta la dicitura "bollitore" è bene precisare che non si tratta di un modello generico. Di quelli tuttofare a cui si è comunemente abituati e che usiamo tanto per scaldare il tè, quanto per riempire la borsa d'acqua calda.Il funzionamento è il medesimo, così come la finalità, ma cose come capacità massima, sistema di selezione della temperatura e design "a teiera", lo rendono tanto ideale per la preparazione di bevande calde quanto troppo specifico per gli usi generici.Fatta questa premessa, è inutile dire che poter selezionare la temperatura con una precisione al singolo grado è praticamente fondamentale con le bevande ad infusione, se si punta ad un risultato perfetto. Il fatto poi che per farlo non si agirà su un comando soft touch, ma su uno fisico, a ghiera, rende questa operazione oltre che utile, anche pratica.La capacità è "limitata" ad un litro, nel senso che rispetto i generici di cui parlavo nel prologo, comunemente da due litri, questo bollitore potrebbe apparire meno capiente. Tuttavia configurandolo proprio come un bollitore specifico per bevande calde, diventa chiaro che il peso (da pieno) dev'essere ben bilanciato per poter affrontare un servizio ad inclinazione lenta. Anche perché il collo di cigno da cui passa l'acqua, riduce il flusso affinché possiate regolare il livello e irrorare al meglio caffè/tè/altro.I materiali poi mi hanno dato davvero una buona sensazione e nel complesso, considerando lo schermo chiaro, leggibile e retroilluminato, il tasto on/off per poterlo lasciare tranquillamente collegato alla presa e il sistema di mantenimento del calore, mi sento di dire che si tratta di un buon bollitore specifico.L'unica nota da fare, riguarda il wattaggio massimo. Non proprio alto. Nel senso che qui abbiamo circa 1200W contro i più comuni 2000w. Il risultato è un tempo di attesa leggermente superiore, direi tra un minuto e non più di 2, per raggiungere i 100 gradi (a pieno carico), rispetto altre varianti. Tuttavia non lo penalizzerò per questo, dato che la potenza è dichiarata tra le specifiche del prodotto e poi perché preparare determinate bevande è un po' un rito, dove la pazienza figura tra gli ingredienti.

Recibimos una caja bastante grande, pero es inevitable debido a las dimensiones del hervidor (en especial por el cuello de cisne, que es de una sola pieza que sobresale bastante, y las buenas protecciones que lleva el hervidor en el packaging de envío).Cada elemento viene en una bolsita de plástico protectora individual: base, hervidor y tapa. La punta de la salida de agua también va protegida con una boquilla de silicona, ya que es una parte importante para que salga bien el chorro de agua y no se derrame verticalmente por el lateral hacia abajo. Entre esto, y las espumas separadores interiores y exteriores, nos llega perfecto todo.A nivel diseño me gusta bastante. Es de líneas modernas, y el acabado negro mate queda elegante y contemporáneo. Pero a su vez la salida tipo cuello de cisne tan fina y con esa curva, le da un toque ciertamente retro.Tanto base como tetera son muy livianos de peso. La primera es toda de aluminio, por lo que pesa súper poco y es totalmente apta para uso alimentario. La base es de plástico y realmente no da la sensación de ser tan premium como la tetera, es como que se nota mucho más sencilla en todos los aspectos. Tiene unos tacos de goma debajo para no resbalar encima del mármol o superfície dónde la pongamos.El uso de este set es sencillo, funciona como un hervidor normal, pero con funciones adicionales.Primero de todo pondremos agua entre las indicaciones MIN y MAX en el hervidor. Decir que este tiene protección anti calentamiento en seco, pero mejor no ponerlo a prueba 😅. Una vez con agua, lo colocaremos en la base de calentamiento y le daremos al botón de ON/OFF.A partir de aquí regularemos la temperatura a la que necesitamos que llegue el agua. En los folletos que se incorporan, hay una parte que dice exactamente a la temperatura que necesitamos el agua para preparar según qué té/café para tenerlo perfecto, es muy instructivo. Como soy viciado de los tés japoneses, ahí he puesto el matcha a los 90ºC necesarios. Le daremos al ON y solamente requerirá esperar.En la pantalla inferior de la base, en todo momento iremos viendo la temperatura actual del agua, por lo que progresivamente estaremos informados como va subiendo hasta lo que hayamos definido.Cuando llega a la temperatura deseada, emite un pitido de aviso. Una de las funciones extra que tiene, es que podemos indicar que nos mantenga la temperatura deseada del agua. Es decir, que si le ponemos 90ºC, nos mantenga eso hasta que nosotros lo paremos manualmente (por defecto viene configurado a unas desmesuradas 8h de retención de temperatura, pero podemos configurar ese tiempo a valores mucho más razonables en rangos de minutos). Muy útil por si ponemos a hervir agua mientras hacemos otras cosas, así cuando vayamos a por el agua sabremos que está a la temperatura deseada 👌En conclusión, un hervidor para gente habitual de los tes y cafés, y que los quiere hechos tan bien como se pueda. Serían 5 estrellas si no fuera por el tema de la base, que no me termina de convencer (y más en este pricetag actual de 70€, creo que se podría exigir más).
