I had a talented crafty friend help me on the first round and it was a first time silk screen for us both. The silk screened shirts turned out perfect! Be sure to read instructions thoroughly though. A fun project with great results!

the largest screen is not large enough to fit one of the full sized print films, the kit does not come with Emulsifier and sensitizer (which you can get a presensitized emulsion) it doesn't come with ink, it doesn't say you can use a UV light or a 150w reg bulb which you will need, doesn't say if a low pixel picture will work or not which will waste you photo film. which the kit only comes with 4 sheets, and it doesn't come with the emulsifier cleaner to clean up after use.

My first kit and love it. It came with everything to start out except ink. It would be nice to get a small jar. This is not a cheap hobby. The ink is expensive.So starter kits should have ink. Just to do a free test drive

Exactly what I was looking for and good value for the money.

So I was very excited to receive this however the instructions are very confusing so what I did was used my cricut to make stencils and just heat pressed the paint. Everything that was included was very good quality .

The larger frame is probably a4 side with the frame being 1 inch either side. The squeegee that comes with it is slightly too big to fit in the small frame vertically so you have to use it horizontally. I have tried it with a vinyl stencil and it worked great.

The only thing they could have done to make this kit better in my opinion, is to have included some paint/ink and emulsion. That aside though it's perfect for a beginner looking to get their toes wet with some screen printing. Just make sure you order some emulsion along with it, and have a UV light on hand.I opted for the aluminium frames; they're a bit on the small side, but are well built and should be great for working on smaller designs. The squeegee is a bit different than I was expecting, being a thick piece of acrylic embedded in a wooden hand, which is quite comfortable in the hands.It's also nice that it comes with a pair of gloves, a sponge, popsicle sticks, some masking tape and two scrappers in addition to the squeegee; it's easy to overlook some of these items, and they're essential for getting good results out of your prints and ensuring you get to use the kit more than once.Unfortunately my order of photo emulsion seems to have gotten lost in transit, so I haven't had the opportunity to give the kit a real go as of yet; but as I've stated what's provided in the kit is solid in the quality department, it's honestly better than what my college provided us in my graphic design course when we made t-shirts, and I can't wait to start printing my own designs again.
