Price was definitely right, and the part fit exactly like the original. So far it works! Hopefully will hold up over time.

This is listed as a fit for the 1999 986 boxter. It does not. Not even close. I did not have time to install this part right away exceeded the return time window. The distributor will not accept returns.

Works grate. Not much more to say about it than that. And about a 1/4 of the cost compared to AutoZone or O’Reillys. But you don’t get a lifetime warranty on it. But for the cost I can replace more than 3 or 4 of them..

Installed it on a rig that the old one was toast and it worked fine for about 20 turns, then it started catching and making weird clicks inside sounds like something inside it broke off and clanks around.

OMG, I can't believe I put up with the hassle when this device was broken. Installation took about 45 minutes but I can do it again in 15 minutes now that I know the procedure. Now that it is fixed, the only drawback is my wife can start driving the car again. Maybe I shouldn't fix it.

They could not install this because it was broken when It arrived.

I was under the impression that this fit my 2001 Boxster S. It does not.
