The dough hook that comes with the KitchenAid mixer is fine, but more often than not it just grabs the dough and spins it around like the dough is taking a ride at the fair. I swapped this dough hook in and that can still happen, but much less and for much less time. The dough generally does not stick and spin with the hook and it works great for mixing and kneading my sourdough breads. It makes it so much easier to make breads and it feels like there is less stress on the motor as well.If you bake breads or anything where a dough hook is useful I recommend giving this a try.

It is made of stainless steel, and is exactly as advertised. Well worth the money.

Doesn't fit my 4.5 qt Classic KitchenAid as indicated. It touches the bottom of the bowl and completely etched a circle in a matterof a blink. Comparing it to the one that came with my machine, it's at least 1/2" longer. I really wanted a spiral style dough hook, guess this isn't the one for me, so back it goes.

Dump the dough hook! This takes care of my bread, pizza, and panettone dough mixing so beautifully, I no longer need to keep diddling with the edges of the dough. I can put in liquid and it mixes in. With the dough hook, the mixing becomes a test of patience. Exceeds expectations. Thanks Vito for showing the spiral on your channel.

The hook was scraping against my 4.5 qt Kitchenaid mixing bowl so I had to return it. Other than that, it seemed to be solidly constructed and performed well on one time I tried it.

I wanted a spiral beater and the kitchenaid one was very pricy. This is the perfect solution! It fits the kitchenaid mixer perfectly and is half the price. It works very well and mixes dough for pizza and other goodies with ease.

This dough hook is too small for my 5qt kitchen aid! the quality isn't bad just disappointed I can't actually use it unless I hold the bowl up 🤦‍♀️

Benutzen unsere Kitchenaid regelmäßig um Sauerteig und Hefeteige zu kneten.Leider ist der original Knethaken eine Katastrophe...es wird kaum geknetet, sondern der Teig wickelt sich um den Haken und wird durch die Schüssel gedreht.Zur Abhilfe haben wir uns daraufhin den Knethaken "Tschimmhook" aus Edelstahl gekauft, der diese Aufgabe zwar etwas besser erledigt, jedoch wickelt sich der Teig auch hier um den Haken und wird nur wenig geknetet.Nach langer Suche haben wir und dann schließlich diesen Hakenb hier bestellt und ich kann nur sagen, dass dieser Haken den Teig nun wirklich knetet und nicht rührt!Verarbeitung: Der Haken ist aus Edelstahl gefertigt und macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck. Einzig die obere Kante des Bleches hat einen leichten Grat, welcher sich aber mit ein wenig Schleifpapier entfernen lässt.Preis-Leistung: Gekauft haben wir den Knethaken am 24.04.2024 für 33,99€ incl. 6€ Rabattgutschein. Angesichts der Verarbeitung und des Hervorragenden Materials finde ich den Preis angemessen.Fazit: Wer auf der Such nach einem Knethaken und keinem weiteren Rühraufsatz für seine Kitchenaid ist, sollte hier unbedingt zuschlagen!
