Lovely Lace Girls Christening Gowns Dresses

I was a little scared to purchase this baptism from amazon, but I’m so glad I did!! It Was beautiful and got so many compliments on it.

My husband and I purchased this dress last minute since, somehow, the original dress ordered never made it to our home. This is a pretty dress for the price, however, we did not end up using it. This dress is not pure white as it has a slight tinge of beige. My husband and I campared this to a third dress bought from Macy’s. We found the Macy’s dress to be a pure white, especially compared to this dress being reviewed. The lace is not a soft, stitched lace as it has a thick, plastic-y feel. As for how it smells, have you ever taken a Halloween costume out of its bag from a party store and smelled it? The dress smells like that. I don’t think it’s bad, but for a baptism dress, it’s not the best. So, this dress should be aired out for a few days, or dry cleaned, before the big day. The back of the dress has a large slit from the waist to the bottom of it. This would have been really good for really proofing the dress for pics, easier diaper change, and carrying the baby more securely. I’m not sure about the sizing since we did not put this dress on our baby. My baby is one week away from being 5 months old and is in the 90th percentile for height (about 26.5 inches) and weight (18 lbs, a true, healthy chunky monkey :D) and this dress seems it would have fit like a size 6-9 month old dress when eyeing it, and comparing it to the size of the other dress.

Absolutely beautiful dress for a wedding or baptism.. My baby was 6.5 months old at the time and a tad on the chunky side so I purchased the 12 mos. Thank God I did bc anything smaller would’ve been too tight...Furthermore, I went to a store in my city and the dresses were over $100 and were not as nice. This dress was perfect with great quality material. Beautiful design and same as picture. Keep in mind it is meant to fit extra long. I did put an undershirt to keep the lace from itching her on the sleeves. Stockings were not needed due to the weather. I initially was worried about her being annoyed with the lace and too hot but the church was extra cold which i think aided in her being comfortable wearing the dress.

Uuuugh! This dress I got and the dress in the photo are 2 TOTALLY different dresses. The dress that came is the seamstresses interpretation of the pictured dress. It is a cute dress but not what I expected when I ordered. The intricate pattern is sloppily done in places and the design is riddled with inconsistencies. The edging on the sleeves and bonnet could have also been cleaned up more. Lastly, the hem on the bottom is crooked.

This was exactly what I was looking for. Having been raised Catholic, I'm uned to the traditional Baptism gowns which cover the feet. This did exactly that. There were some loose threads but the fit, look and easy access to changing diapers deserve 5 stars. I did do as another had and glued pearls to the dress but truthfully, it's a matter of preference and not a necessity. The dress truly is beautiful.

It is beautiful, and accurate sizing. It looks like a Royal Baby should be wearing it.

To start off packaging was nice. The dress was beautiful and the details was impressive. It's not white and that's how I wanted it. I bought 10-12 mos size for my 8mos as she's on 75th percentile rank...and it fits her well. The opening in the back made it easy to put on and change her after the ceremony. KUDOS TO THE SELLER!! great product!

Really lovely dress. Haven’t tried it on the baby yet but the packaging was bad and the glue got on two strands of ribbon, one on the dress and one on the head piece.
