Ladybugs are one of the best known beneficial insects. They are used in gardens, greenhouses and farms. Benefits of Ladybugs: Shipped to you in the adult stage ready to use Highly mobile allowing them to travel from plant to plant. Release Instructions: When releasing outdoors make sure that there is shade for the ladybugs. Try to release in the evening so that they have some time to adapt to your location. Give your plants a light misting of water before the release. The ladybugs may become dehydrated during travel. The moisture will also help to attract and retain the ladybugs. The ladybugs, which are shipped through may, we call “winter” lady bugs and they should live at least through may, when properly refrigerated. light watering usually helps survival. The new crop of “summer” ladybugs arrives in late may or early june. They have as much as 70 percent stored body fat by weight. This stored fat is so that they can survive through next spring with some water as they go into “diapause” which is similar to hibernation.

Zero Dead Loss!
The Ladybugs arrived on time, well packaged with air holes and were super active. I gave them a mist of water and set them outside until the evening. I released half at dusk and the other half 2 nights later (water mist daily for hydration) and they were still perfectly fine and active. I had not one single dead ladybug. Each and everyone was alive and busy. I am recommending to all my garden friends and will purchase again as needed!

They arrived perfectly alive. The day after I released them they were gone. Nowhere to be found.

Incredibly exciting and so fun!
Very pleased with my order! We recently noticed our day lily plants were really struggling even though they have been getting enough water, nutrients and sun. Turns out they were infested with thrips. A quick look on the google machine 😄 showed that ladybugs are a natural predator of thrips. We ordered these ladybugs to hopefully clear up our infestation.Whether or not they succeed, it was unexpectedly exciting! We had a great time opening the two packages and watching the mass of ladybugs march out of the packages into the day lily plants! I imagine this would be even more fun to do with my niece next year! Now there are ladybugs on all 15 of my day lily plants! They are everywhere and even if we don’t have thrips in the future, I might buy more next spring anyway! The ladybugs were packaged well- the open-air packages were not smooshed into the box they came in, and if I had to guess, probably 95% of the ladybugs were alive. I was very impressed and would definitely buy from this shipper/supplier again!

Alive and hard at work
The media could not be loaded. Packages arrived safely and with air holes in them. They’re in the garden doing their job. Most living, maybe 6 in ttl not. Very good.

Incredible!!!
First order with this seller but we have brought home “live” ladybugs from other sellers and it never was pretty. These bugs arrive active, colorful, wonderfully packaged. They are big, beautiful ladybugs and we were excited to set them free.Ordered four packages and had zero, nada, zilch casualties.Released them amongst the foliage, at dusk, after watering heavily earlier in the day. They flew and climbed and started making colonies right away.So grateful to the seller for their care in shipping and selection. Thank you!!!
