This is basically a toy kitchen area on a flat board that small children can carry around and take with them on trips.You receive the board, a pack of stickers to put onto the board and 6 vegetable/food shaped plastic moulds.On the board there is:* A tap which can be moved around via the neck or the knob* A hob with a knob to turn it on and off together with a cooking pot on the burner which you can take the lid off and pop one of your moulded shapes inside to cook it* A fridge (you put one of the stickers in here to show the food on the shelves) and can open and close the door* A toaster with a slice of bread inside which will pop up when you turn the knob* An extension lead where you can "plug" in the toaster and fridge with a switch to turn it on and off and * * A light on the top to tell you if its on.* A clock with moveable hands* A microwave oven (add more of the stickers here) which has an opening door via the push button* A storage cupboard with two sets of doors with a bolt and a latch - add the sticker in hereThe board also has 10 musical sounds, the clicking sound of the microwave oven and the boiling sound of the food in the cooking pot. This is a busy board or “Activity pad” if you prefer. I have seen this sort of thing before that consists of clips, buckles and shoelaces, but never one that features plastic interactive kitchen toys.First of all, you need to insert three x AA batteries in the back (which are held down by small retaining screw to stop small hands, prying it off) Then, on the front, there is a sliding switch that needs to go to the on position (with a choice of two volume settings). Then it’s simply a question of allowing your toddler to twist, turn and dial the various switches on the front to obtain different effects. There is a tap and a bubbling pot, a microwave that pings, A toaster that pops and a fridge with a little light inside. The little light on the fridge, and on the toaster can be switched on & off by plugging & unplugging the appliances in with the plug sockets.I’ve knocked one star off because much as I like this, it drives me mad with the constant playing of musical tunes. It plays a short nursery rhyme, and then about five seconds later, it does it again, and it repeats this cycle constantly. I would prefer the feature where the tunes only play when you press a button.This is fun and different. I could recommend this, I think it’s excellent value for the money you seem to get a lot of product for your cash.

I haven't seen a busy board like this one before, so it's nice and uniqueness means that it also doesn't duplicate things on other busy boards you might have.Super helpful and fun for little hands and fingers.Good quality and also makes a nice educational gift.Perfect travel companion, where you're taking it somewhere or want something to play with to keep your little ones busy in the car.

I like the kitchen theme, previous busy boards have all had the same theme- buckles, zips, locks this is different. The pieces are all safe and secure.❌ What could be better?The noise gets a little irritating but that’s standard with most toddler toys.🤝 Summary…A good busy board.I hope you found this review helpful.

The media could not be loaded.  Great, interactive toy. The box advises 18 months+ but perfectly suitable for younger toddlers - my 15 month old loved it! It was really fun watching him figuring out all the functions (and showing him if he couldn't quite work it out!)Some of the board and the food pieces come blank that you need to apply the stickers to, which is a bit annoying if you don't get them straight!It takes 3x AA batteries, not included.Also, I think that it's too noisy. I like the sounds that correspond to the actions (like the ping for the microwave) but the music in the background is a bit unnecessary and distracting.

I've got to say it. my husband is great at everything except at doing house work especially in the kitchen. I want our baby boy to learn everything and that includes household work! this toy is great to get them interested in things as simple on how to use a gas stove, a tap, even doing the washing up! I've got a few busy books for him but this one is completely different to any other so it's great fun and I think every child deserves one!

A unique busy board which any toddler will love. Teaches them how to use items in a kitchen and helps with eye to hand co-ordination. Great gift idea as never seen one of these before so doubt it will be a duplicate gift! Good price too for a product well made and nicely packaged
