Nutritious Alternative to Plain Flour
I love this flour! I had never baked with Fava Bean Flour prior to this, so I wasn't sure what to expect going in. Upon arrival, I liked the thick bag the flour was stored in with the resealable top. It made the flour easy to keep fresh or pour when needed. Doing my research on the product before it arrived, I already had in mind a few things I wanted to try with it, one of them being a pizza crust as it was a commonly suggested dish. I followed an online recipe, and the final results came out really good! The fava bean flour has a unique earthy taste and a denser texture that was perfect for a thin crust. I also tried it to thicken sauces, and it provides a lovely subtle flavor that really elevates the dish. I'm excited to try the breadstick recipe next that the seller had provided.Overall, I think this flour hit all the boxes for me! It came well packaged, the flour itself is fresh and fine, the flour itself worked perfectly in the recipes I tried it on, and beyond that it has numerous nutritional benefits that makes it healthier than your traditional flour.

Earthy Flavor; Gluten Free Option But….
Product: Organic Fava Bean Flour, 2.5 PoundsI’ve found that if I limit the gluten in my diet, my allergies are very much improved. I’ve been trying different types of flours that are gluten free to be able to add more bread items to my diet. This was my first time trying fava bean flour. Being a bean product, it also has the advantage of having more protein, which I like. The higher protein means it’s more filling than a traditional bread.I’ve been happy with this option so far. The flavor is earthy, which is a flavor I like. So far I’ve been using it to make waffles (belgium iron) that I then use as bread for sandwiches. I flavor the batter in different savory flavors, depending on my mood. There are many recipes on the web for foods using fava flour. The flour is fresh, and it comes in a resealable bag. The flour is ground fine without any lumps. The only issue some may have with this flour is the warning it is produced in a facility that handles wheat. This could be an issue for someone who is truly gluten intolerant. It’s a shame for a food that is naturally gluten free.
