The “Farsail Wii to HDMI Converter Output Upscaling Video Audio Adapter Supports All Wii Display Modes” arrived a few days after ordering, in good condition and was well packaged, with great communication in terms of both dispatch and delivery.In terms of consumer packaging the HDMI converter comes in a plain unbranded white box inside a clear fronted zip-lock bag. Inside the converter itself is shrink wrapped and cradled in a plastic tray, with the instructions underneath.Inside you will find:• 1 x Farsail Wii to HDMI Converter Output Upscaling Video Audio Adapter Supports All Wii Display Modes• I x instructions (in very small print)In terms of the manufacture’s claims for the product:• “Attaches to the Wii's standard video port and a standard HDMI port; Convert your Nintendo Wii to an HDMI compatible device with 3.5mm Audio.”I’d agree with this – you simply unplug the standard Wii output cable, pug this in, insert an HDMI cable in the HDMI port, plug that in to your TV and away you go.• “Wii to HDMI adapter supports all Wii display modes (NTSC 480i, 480p,PAL 576i); The extra 3.5mm audio socket lets you connect headphones or speakers, so you can enjoy games at night without worrying you will disturb others.”I’d agree – it does appear to support all display, and the 3.5mm socket is a great addition – I’ve pugged a Bluetooth transmitter in to it so I can use Bluetooth headphones and this arrangement works great.• “Using with just one HDMI cable (Not Included),for true-to-life video/audio effects on your TV/monitor,Hassle Free! Plug and play as you go.”The “true-to-life” statement is stretching things a bit give that the Wii’s not able to output HD let alone 4K• “Provides advanced signal processing with great precision, colours and resolutions. Small and exquisite appearance, it is convenient to carry.”The output appears to be as good as using the standard Wii cable• “PACKAGE INCLUDES:1 x Wii to HDMI Converter,1 x User Manual,1 Year Warranty by Farsail”As far as I can see there is nothing about the warranty in the included contents so its good that it is stated here.Overall this is a good converter that does what it is supposed to do and has the added bonus of a 3.5mm socket. The only let down is the instructions which are printed in such small print they are almost unusable.Please note that I received this item for a discount in exchange for an honest, unbiased review which I have given.
