Great quality cameras
I bought 2 of these camera to install ay my mother's house. They were so easy to install and picture quality is excellent. They detect every noise or movement there is. And the range is awesome. They work very well and the night vision is great.

Great quality cam for a ridiculously low price
I discovered Wyze via a tech article back when they were about to launch their first cameras. They were the perfect solution for an apartment dweller with zero knowledge of security cams and very little money to spend. The company has come a long way since then, but their affordability hasn't changed one bit. I now have 3 Wyze Cam v2s, 1 Wyze Cam Pan V2, 2 Wyze Cam OGs, and the Wyze scale. The app is easy to use, and the cameras are so simple to set up. All you have to know is how to use a smartphone. I do suggest subscribing to Cam Plus, which allows for longer and more frequent recordings and saves them in the cloud for 14 days. It also allows you to choose smart detection, like pet, person, package, etc., which cuts down on unnecessary notifications when branches move in the wind. It's $3 per camera per month or $10/mo for unlimited cameras -- but you can get even cheaper unlimited plans if you watch for Black Friday and other sales.I originally bought 2 to face my front and back doors because I was concerned about break-ins in my area. I wanted to be alerted if someone entered my apartment while I was gone and hopefully get a shot of their face to help catch them. I later added more, so I could peek in on my dog while I was at work, watch for packages (and package thieves) at my front door, and just be able to see that all was well at home while I was gone. Most recently, the cams came in handy when maintenance came into my apartment to do a repair. I was at work and was immediately notified that someone was in my home. I watched them on camera, and I was even able to ask them via the speaker to close the front door, which had swung back open behind them. I didn't really think they'd do anything wrong, but it was still nice to be able to see in real time that they only worked on the repair, didn't enter my bedroom, and didn't even glance at anything worth stealing. All in all, I would absolutely recommend Wyze cams to anyone wanting cam security at an adorable price. There are tons of other affordable options in the market these days, but Wyze started it and remains on top with quality and true affordability.

You just can't go wrong
What can I say!? The picture quality as well as user interface is just unmatched in any other security camera setup. Not to mention the price being so dang affordable whereas every other brand is so expensive!! They're durable as heck, have a plug in design so no messing with battery life. there's zero lag and even when zooming you don't lose quality.

A very good low light color camera
I have owned two Wyze V3 cameras for years, this OG has better, brighter color night vision. I have linked the Wyze app to my Alexa show 8-3g. The picture is great but there is no apparent Alexa 'speaker listen' button, a minor thing. For a monitoring device this is an easy 5 stars. However, for a security camera, this device has the motion alerts and recording hobbled unless you get a subscription. I did get a 'one camera' subscription, at a reasonable price. The smart detection alone was worth it for me. The camera does a good job of detecting only certain types of motion (with the subscription) and can eliminate most false motion triggers. Another thing to be aware of, this only works on 2.4 GHz WiFi, if you ONLY have a 5 GHz WiFi it will not work, sorry. All in all, a very good camera, just research the Wyze 'subscription plans' to see if another camera system might be more economical. :)

These work great when they work, just remember to...
I waited a while to write this review because, while these cameras and the phone app were great when they worked, the whole system would go offline inexplicably usually after two or three days. None of the fixes mentioned on the Wyze website or in forums helped. Apparently, lots of people have the same problem. Needing to restart the hotspot every few days to get things running again shouldn't be necessary. This was super exasperating, and I was in the process of rigging up a contraption to automatically restart the hotspot every day (just a timer won't do, it needs a manual button press too). Then, on my own, I discovered what I think is the fix. In your phone (Android), go to Settings, Apps, Wyze. Open Storage and Cache, and then Clear the Cache. I check my system a few times per day and clear the cache at least once a day. Since doing this, the system hasn't failed - it's been a few weeks now...knock on wood. Apparently, just like on a computer, everything can slow down and come to a grinding halt if cache gets too full, and I guess if this happens with Wyze it triggers a timeout and knocks the system off the network. Wyze needs to let people know about this. Other than that, another minor complaint is that the camera view sometimes says it's "Live" when it's not. Sometimes you need to refresh the camera view to get it to actually go live. Also, once in a while, recorded video can't be retrieved from the network. Not sure what's up with that, network is strong and stable...maybe something at Wyze's end. All in all, while there is room for improvement, the system is very easy to set up and works well now.

Great value for the price, works amazing!
I have been using this camera for months now and it has been a great security addition for my apartment. I have it in one of my windows to watch my car in the parking lot especially when I travel and it always record people, cars and even sounds. I did get a subscription to be able to access the videos but it was super super cheap, just a couple of bucks. Will purchase more soon!

Great quality even better price
I've replaced all my cameras with these. They work so well. Great quality video and sound and great night vision. The only reason I won't give them 5 stars is because they don't work well with google home. It's like you're forced to use their app and it takes forever to bring up the cameras from your cell phone.
