Affordable Quality
The media could not be loaded. I wanted to start recording my electric scooter rides and decided to give this camera a try as it was affordable and came with a few accessories that I could use.I’m not an ‘action sports’ person. I mostly wanted something I could use like a dash cam if I were to be in a situation where if needed, I’d have documentation and this camera works perfectly for this purpose. It was very easy to setup straight from the box and the instructions were available with a QR scan, which I prefer over having to carry a sheet with me incase I forgot how to do something, making settings adjustments very easy on the go. I just keep the tab open in my browser with the manual on my phone. The video stabilization is amazing. On my rides I hit a lot of minor bumps with uneven sidewalks and the camera handles them no problem. The lighting auto adjusts so I do not have to change settings with each use although if you wanted to, you can change things like the ISO for specific shooting styles. The menus are straightforward and easy to navigate, the camera has up and down keys on the side to scroll them.Connecting to the camera is very easy as well. I have yet to try docking it to my MacBook, but haven’t had to try it, with how easy it is to do it via the wifi setting from the camera to my iPhone. The app is very stable and works without problems, it is very refreshing honestly as compared to a ‘thumb camera’ I tried before purchasing this one.The speed to download videos to my phone was surprisingly fast. In 7 minutes I was able to wirelessly save a 22 min long video from the camera with the wifi mode enabled. At first I used the included helmet mount, which was very sturdy. On my morning rides I pass under a good amount of trees that would smack the camera and the adhesive did not peel or budge on the handful of times I didn’t duck low enough. It was easy to mount and stuck on like it was glued to my helmet.I did end up buying the extra accessories kit after about a week of using the this kits helmet adhesive mount. I wanted to try to chest mount and that’s what is what I used in this video I included here. Please do not pay too much attention to the choppy sound though, when I recorded this video it was very windy out, but you can hear in the video how well it picks up sounds in the moments I am not riding against the wind. The batteries keep a charge after prolonged use as well. Last week I was able to record 40 mins a day back and forth to work 5 days in a row while using the video stabilization setting on a single battery and still had 30% left by the end of the week and didn’t even have to use the second included battery.I would suggest this camera to anyone who wants quality without having to spend $300+ to get it.

Great Camera
Pretty awesome action camera for the price point. Love the accessories. Water proof case works well. Wish it came with the chest mount too but beggars can’t be choosers.

Great budget option
For the price and what’s included you can make this a versatile device. I got it for a Hawaii trip but have put it through the paces beforehand.I recommend you test settings and find which one works for the activities you’re planning. I find the best clarity on 1080/60 fps. It’s the sharpest most stable image on hikes, at the range, and as a dash cam. Waterproof case works well. Battery life is ok and you’ll get maybe 2hrs max off one charge. I also recommend you buy extras.Stability is ok at best. Make sure you mount it as secure as possible if trying to use it as a dash cam. Off-road mounting options really expose how unstable and shaky the image stabilization is BUT for the price you really can’t complain.Ultimately this will do what I need it to do. If it gets lost in the ocean oh well… got it on sale and not out several hundred dollars. The accessories will fit higher quality options and if it’s your budget choice to get into an action cam this will do fine. This was my first and I’ll definitely upgrade

Would definitely recommend
Honestly for the price, it’s a great product. I’ve taken it to the beach, snorkeling, cycling, fishing and even theme parks. All you really need is a handle grip and a water proof case to go with it. You can pretty much mount it to any gear, the accessories are compatible and durable. Its functionality is that of a professional camera since it has great 4k video quality. The battery life is beyond 2hours. Great product.

My First Action Camera: An Awesome Surprise!
I had been holding off with purchasing an action camera until now, largely for two reasons: the picture quality / specs were comparable to those of my phone camera, and they were very expensive, even considering the idea of being water proof. Thanks to the alternative I found with this brand, I've discovered a great camera that really exceeds the specs of the GoPros that I've read. And, it lists just at the top end of what I am comfortable paying. To clarify, 20 MP is a dramatic improvement in detail over my 13 MP phone, or our 16 MP Kodak. The 4K video is likewise a vast improvement over our other cameras. It is worth noting that we do not own high end cameras in general, as they are well outside of our budget, so the depth available to us provides challenges when conditions aren't perfect. So the differences in image quality are absolutely visible under the same conditions.Notably, the video quality settings I have tested so far are 4K and 1080P (which I believe is "HD"). There are a few other settings for quality, and the balance is really a trade-off between frame rate and image quality. At 4K, the frame rate maximum is 24fps. At 1080P the maximum is 60fps. The greater frame-rate can be useful in the case of converting existing regular speed footage to a slower playback rate. Also notable, I haven't discovered a setting that is explicitly described as "slow motion", so this effect may be exclusively relegated to the editor's station. As this is my first action camera, I didn't know exactly what to expect. It surprised me how very light weight and small the camera body really is. I was very apprehensive about testing its waterproof casing, but I did, and it definitely is.Additionally, I really appreciate the ability to use my phone as a remote viewfinder, and remote trigger.Okay, that's the gushing praise for the product. The things that I encountered that seemed to be less "gush-worthy" are a few:First (and I accept this as typical of the form), there isn't a "macro" setting. This means that this camera is really intended to capture a wide field of view in good detail. It doesn't really have the ability to capture those intimately close-up images that a macro lens / setting would assist. The depth of field is broad, and it captures images sharply both near and relatively distant, but a macro setting would improve the performance up close.Additionally, the aspect of the images are square. I haven't yet found a setting with which the aspect can be adjusted, and with modern monitors / televisions emphasizing ratios like 16:9 (not square in any case), the result is a video / photo with broad black stripes on either side when viewed on such a monitor. Moreover, the manual is fairly explicit in contrast with the other manuals for similar cameras I purchased very shortly after this one. But, the thing it really lacks are in-depth descriptions of the specs of the camera. Items like focal point measurements can be useful. It is also pretty common for the "time-lapse" setting to have its greatest interval be limited to 5 seconds. I would actually love to see longer intervals become available, up to as much as 24 hours. The idea being that it would be useful to monitor things like plant development at consistent times of day / lighting conditions. The size and versatility of this camera's form would lend itself quite readily to such applications. So the summary is this:Pros-Good quality imagery for the priceSmall and lightweightWaterproof (with the included casing)InexpensiveManual is more explicit than other brands for similar productCons (or not-so-pro)Square aspect videoMissing camera specs in manualShort interval limitation for time-lapse setting.Overall, I'm very pleased with this camera.
