Kids loved this sand! I work with special needs children in an early years class...they are mostly sensory and this product was a bargain!! They absolutely can't get enough of this sand and is perfect for their seaside topic too! It's easy to clean away as the sand sticks together so no hassle at all to clean off the floor! Hard floor is easier then carpet though!

I purchased this on a whim as I thought it would be a fantastic rainy day activity. The advised age range is 3 years+ but I have no issues letting my 17 month old son play with it supervised.The box contains;1 bag of kinetic/motion sand9 moulds - Seahorse, shell, car, plane, train, crab, boat, star, fish1 x roller which creates animal paw printsProps - Hat, 2 x arms, 2 x hands, 1 x eyes, 1 x antennasThe sand consistency is very strange, it is solid when shaped but does run through your fingers as detailed in the attached photo. It is very easy to mould, my son had so much fun filling the moulds and turning them over to reveal the shape. He had a little competition from the adults to play with it so it really is for the whole family to enjoy. The sand as claimed creates little mess and is very easy to tidy as it sticks to itself. The amount of sand received means you can fill 8 of the 9 moulds at one time. I plan to purchase more as my son gets older ... his dad has already been browsing the range online.I highly recommend motion sand, so much fun with no tedious tidy up at the end.I hope this review was helpful.

This sand is really tactile and fun for my 2 year old to play with. We bought it to go in her little sand table, but unfortunately it doesn't really go very far! When you factor in spillage, which there is a lot of here, I can't see it lasting too long. The moulded shapes are great and there are lots. I did end up chucking the little plastic eyes and arms though as they seemed a bit of a choking hazard. All in all though, I'm pleased with my purchase and will likely buy more as it's a popular activity with my daughter :)

bought this for a child who does not like the feel of sand. so took a chance. the fact that it can be moulded and you can put toy cars,etc in it has made it more acceptible to be played with and theres no mess. neat little box. its not big but you dont need a lot.as you play indoors a tray preferably with sides is ideal. even a table,

Bought this for my 4 year old son who has sensory processing issues and is on the spectrum - an early years practitioner suggested it. My son loves this! He gets so much of his needed sensory feedback from it and was engrossed in making shapes for longer than I expected, having focus issues such as he does.The sand is weirdly delightful - sandy yet pleasantly sticky and mouldable. Looks like damp beach sand, unlike the coloured versions available.Strongly recommend buying an additional Motion Sand 2kg pack as a good starter. It does clean up well - sticks to itself nicely and not in the long pile rug or carpet pile. Still would put a sheet down though.Great stuff, good supplier and price.

Really pleased with purchase. Great value for money. Would recommend buying the blow up tray to keep it all contained. The shape cutters are good, lovely bright colours. Also like the box it comes in to store away.My son loves it!

There isn't a huge amount of sand with this set but sufficient for hours of fun playing on a tray at the table. Love that it came in a bucket with a good number of moulds and several other items to stimulate creative play. It's also much easier to fill and turn out the moulds than it is with regular sand, especially for little fingers. I thought it was really good value for money and liked that it is regular sand coloured. My son is loving pretending he's at the beach. We have ordered extra sand and a bigger tray for more fun. Would absolutely order more sets in future.
