Roman Gravel White Quartz Sand 8 Kg, Packaging may vary

This is really an awesome product. I bought the White Quartz sand, and although it looks slightly greyish in the bag, it is really bright while under the lights. Even during the first wash ther was not much dirt or color to wash away. It was surprisingly clean. I did give it a second was in treated water since it had to go in the aquariumIt settles very quickly, witihn 10-15 seconds even if its disturbed. Does not disturb easily with the flow of the aquarium. Looks amazing and the fish love it. I actually have gravel in my tank so I got this to split the tank 60% gravel and 40% sand. Like a beach. The fish love it. it was a full family activity changing the tank floor, and even the fish were not afraid to venture near the sand while we were putinng it in the tank.I am tempted to get more of this.I've got a stone structure in the middle of it with real plant reeds next to it. Looks very Zen and calm.

The media could not be loaded. Aquarium looks bright and beautiful. Easy to clean and doesnt turn black if not cleaned regularly.

I opted for white, but now my tank looks like a winter wonderland, rather than the bottom of the ocean, so make sure this is want if your ordering White, it was easy to prepare and easy to set up, it's quite easy to clean but it does go up the vacuum if you put it in the sand.. but no Biggie as the sand is great l heavy enough to sit at the bottom of your bucket so you can rescue it after a rinse and reuse.

This stuff is just awesome, it looks amazing in my new Fluval tank. You MUST first rinse the sand before putting it in your tank (I put a bag at a time in a bucket and left the bath tap on for about 30mins moving the sand around with my hand and discarding the dirty water) once I put the sand in my tank it went VERY cloudy for about an hr and then it just settled. Now it looks amazing set against my blue tank background. I've no idea how my Black Moors will react to it because I'm still letting my new tank cycle. I was a little worried about moving from gravel to sand, but all the worries I had are no longer an issue. Just make sure you rinse the sand before placing in the tank, and don't panic when the tank water goes cloudy (as this will settle down eventually.) I've got a 180 tank and brought 2 bags of the White 8kg and had just enough to give a generous coving at the bottom, but have ordered another bag just to 'top up'Fantastic service from the seller, came faster than expected and like I've said about I've just order another bag from them. Am very happy with the product and service. Good job! :)

Great sand soft didn’t effect the water colouring or quality

Purchased the white Quartz version which is a lovely white/cream with sparkly bits, very happy with it. You get a huge bag, 8kg is a lot of sand and its of a very good quality. I have used less than half a bag in our 36ltr tank, so plenty left over to refill it as the odd bit gets removed during water changes. For such a good quality sand, this is crazy cheap - I'd definetly buy this brand again. It looks pretty nice too!

Brilliant white but more of a fine gravel than sand. Trying to find sand for my sand waterfall, but this looks bitty so doesn't work for my needs

Nice quality sand but rinse at least 3 times before placing in tank to remove the dust.
