Buy This!
Absolutely LOVE this model—the best Halloween one so far. The color is perfection and the pictures don’t do it justice! I will probably leave it out on display all year long. Don’t hesitate, just buy it.

Love him!
What can I say? The mold, paint, and just everything about Maelstrom makes for an amazing model. I have him on my witchy shelf in my home's entryway, and have had a few guests compliment him. :)

He is so cute! The photo does not do him justice!
I love this model! He looks rather unremarkable in the photo but in real life he is a deep, metallic and sparkling green color. He glows in the dark all night long. I keep him by my bed so whenever I wake up during the night I see him glowing.

Spooktacular Halloween Horse
Maelstrom has an iridescent green coat which changes in the sunlight, shifting from a vibrant lime green to a dark emerald color. His pinto markings feature a band of ghost pirates and their haunted ship. All the white markings glow in the dark very brightly! This Halloween horse is a unique addition to anyone's plastic pony collection. I love mine so much! Definitely a favorite among the spooky herd!

Beautiful Collectors Model +Update
Lovely collectors model! I find Breyer models can be hits or misses in more recent years, but this one is a definite hit. I appreciate the frog detailing on the hooves. It gives them a delicate look along with their pale pinkish color. If you are new to the world of Breyer, you will find the model serial number on back right hoof in most cases. I don't keep any of my models anywhere near sunlight, so I wasn't expecting the glow effect. Nor was it a reason for me purchasing it. I love the green oilslick combined with the pose, and the face detailing. Which on the note of the green color, it is stunning!!Back to the glow in the dark, I woke up a few nights ago to see this beauty glowing brightly. Not sure how or when light or sunlight touched it, but needless to say it must've at some point.Very impressive that the glow did indeed continue to glow until daybreak. I love the beautifully scripted Maelstrom 2022 on the belly. The paint and shading are perfect. Unboxed, stands very stable. Now unfortunately my model arrived with a sizable and noticeable hole, that runs clean through the model into the hollow area of the mold via the mouth. There couldn't possibly be a worse place as this! As due to its placement, cannot be hidden or fixed easily. I reached out to the seller asking for a partial refund which didn't go well at all at first. Especially as I'd also purchased another collectors Breyer model (JEWELS) from them the same time I purchased this one, with more in my cart. I am not the type to complain and very much dislike doing so, but couldn't help but be quite upset. In any case we were able to resolve the issue satisfactory and fair, to both of us in the end. I greatly appreciate their time and speedy responses.☆☆UPDATE: I collected Breyer's as a kid in the 70's & 80's, as dolls weren't my thing. So it's only been more recently that I've decided to get back into collecting them. That hole in the side of his mouth drives me crazy so I did some investigating. None of my other new Breyer's have any holes. Turns out the hole is for air and gases to escape. (Not for bridles as I semi suspected or defect). IF there are going to be holes in your model, they'll either be like mine at the corner of the mouth, or in one of the nostrils. None of my beautiful vintage Breyer's have this. Other makers put these holes in the groin area so why can't Breyer?? Horses like Maelstrom are pure art. Why ruin a gorgeous piece of art like this? Had I of purchased this guy directly from Breyer, I'd most definitely be inquiring about the practice of this particular placement area. Especially as a person won't know until they have any horse in hand, as to if it has the release hole in the nostril or side of the mouth. I understand the need for a ventilation hole, however inside the nostril would be more ideal. So please keep this in mind if you are new to collecting Breyer or like me, it's been decades since you've collected.☆☆ If you are looking for a unique item to add to your collection or as a gift, I highly recommend this beauty! Should you incounter any issues with your purchase(s), I highly recommend reaching out to this seller. I will definitely continue to support and purchase from them, which is to say that i 100% recommend their shop. 10/10 for communication and care!Hope this helps. :) 🐎
