Learn Intermediate Spanish for Adults Workbook: Go from Spanish Beginner to Intermediate in 30 Days!

I have been struggling to learn Spanish for a few days and this book has been my savior. The book is specially designed to enrich a person’s knowledge while making them fluent in Spanish. I followed all the practices and lessons by heart and as a result, my Spanish has never been better. The thing which gives this book an edge over other books is that it not only makes you fluent but also expands the scope of your thinking, how the natives frame the sentences etc. Whoever wishes to brush up their Spanish, clear the basics, or reach an intermediate level should own a copy. It contains everything that could have been asked for. A person can very easily learn Spanish through this, that too in a span of 30 days.

I found it very easy to follow but do wish it has a glossary so I could review vocabulary.

The book was a very good review of my Spanish 1 and 2 courses I took in college a few years ago. I am trying to pick up where I left off and this was a good option to start with.

The book is overly technical on explaining the rules, in my opinion there’s no need to be that verbose on explaining the rules in English, meanwhile the examples are super light and uninformative , the review is always at the end of the chapter where you fill in some blanks , so instead of having it by section where you reinforce what you have learned you go thru a very dense chapter just to have a very mediocre few questions. Truly I had to go online and learn some of the things the book was trying to teach because it explained it like one linguist would to another and not a teacher to a student. I expected more, especially from the perspective where this is supposed to teach us Spanish( I have taken intermediate + advanced Spanish in university but I’m pretty rusty so a lot of this is review for me and yet the book made it extra difficult to remember, feel bad for someone who is seeing this for the first time)Would not buy this if I could go back in time knowing what I know about it now !

I'm just getting started and am wondering whether this is beyond my level. I've been doing DuoLingo for almost a year, so thought I was ready to leap to Intermediate. Time will tell.I like the author's writing style and the fact they include both the English and Spanish versions. Some conversational Spanish books are only written in Spanish - often leaving me to try to figure out the English words.

Easy to follow and good for a quick review

I’m super excited about this book! I’m hoping to teach English in Spain next year and need to brush up on my knowledge, and I think this should be very helpful.

Very unhappy with this purchase. I was hoping for a traditional workbook. Instead this reads like a lecture on Spanish verbs with no practice or engagement. I was hoping to return it, but the window passed. This was not helpful.
