If you like fine cuttery you will love this. Solid and well crafted. Sharper then you might think.

I used this cleaver the first day I got it. The curved blade makes it nice to slice and chop. It's weighted enough to go right through whatever you are cutting. Pork shoulder was so much easier to chop up with this cleaver. I have used it on chicken which was no challenge at all, and I easily moved over to cut vegetables with it, that's where the curved blade comes in handy.

Dalstrong is a great brand and still have not been disappointed by their product. I have bought every piece on the Gladiator series and love them all. They are being used in a professional kitchen every day and still strong.

Works very well, could use a rubber guard on the end of the blade to save the hands a bit, but other than that, works great.

So i bought this knife so that i can rock chop veggie up and to slice pizza. Which it does really well. Has a nice sleeve to protect the blade. And overall i am satisfied......but shapening it might be an issue, that hook on the end using an angled rolling sharpen might be a learning curve. And since it is a rather large knife, it might be like an reenactment old Japanese sword smith honing a katana...So thats how it is. When i goto sharpen it, and the experience is good or bad, i intend to update my review.In the meantime enjoy it if you buy one for yourself!

These knives are beautiful and very sharp. Very high quality.

This cleaver is very well made and works like a charm. Truly makes cooking enjoyable. Does take time to get use to as it is bulky but also a great piece to just put on display if that is what you like to do as well. Love the other knives this company has as well and surely will be back for more. Highly recommended.

Every detail is finished to perfection. A lucky heir is going to inherit this one.
