Order it smaller than you need
Ordered the 16x16 with the recommendation of the posts being 1 foot larger in all four corners. Purchased the materials recommended and come to find out we needed more than the 17 foot space and now I have posts in random areas when I wanted to mount over my porch. I really needed a smaller size so it might be my fault but the recommendation is wrong and I need a smaller size as I have not been able to use this one. Very disappointed

Not what I expected. I think 16 x 16 is wrong. Maybe 16 x 14 then stretch to 16 but only the corners. Very disappointing.
