Bargain Beans Sorted My Week!
Bargain hunting on Amazon is practically a sport for me, and stumbling upon this gem felt like hitting the jackpot. The quality is top-notch, especially when considering the price. Perfect for a family's weekly meal prep. One of my favourite weekend rituals now involves half-filling a large thermos flask with these beans, topping up with boiling water, and letting them soften for a couple of hours before adding in mustard seed, cumin, and garlic. It’s a flavour-packed routine that's quick enough to do before heading out to work. The little one even enjoys helping out, which speaks volumes. But don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s all perfect, sometimes, the beans can be slightly inconsistent in size. Still, they're a fantastic value for money, making our kitchen a tad more delightful.

kinda gritty
I bought a few packs of these beans when they were going cheap (5kg for 5 pounds something). The only problem is the little pieces of grit that I've found in most packs so far. They're roughly the colour and size of the beans, so they're very difficult to spot and pick out. You can adapt to eating them - just don't bite down on them hard. I enjoy them and I'm happy to eat them, but I wouldn't risk serving these to guests. No idea if the new stock has grit too.

Quality for a good price
For the price, it’s very good quality. Very hard to find a 5kg bag for this price. Will buy again.
