Pure, fresh, highly-scented and delicious
Green tea is a daily favourite and I was excited to have the opportunity to try this loose leaf tea by Cenvel. I have not tried tea from Sri Lanka before so this was a treat. It is known that the fresher the leaves, the more benefits, especially for antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, andthat's exactly why I consume quite a few cups of green a day. The freshness of this Ceylon green tea has exceptional freshness. This is a good quality tea compared to some off-the-shelf brands that I have tried over the years and for one main reason: There are far fewer pieces of stem! It is a very aromatic tea with quite a grassy and nutty flavour, which makes it very delicious indeed! Previous teas of this sort that I have tried, have had quite a seaweed-like scent. I highly recommend giving this tea a try and for those wanting to try teas of the world! It's a very reasonable price for the quality and freshness.

Nice, fragrant loose green tea leaves.
Great quality green tea and I've enjoyed this a lot. Not quite sure how "pure green tea" is different to just regular green tea, but this was nice.Delicate tea leaves and flavour, so do not use boiling water on these tea leaves, or you will just ruin the flavours.Brewed well, this is very fragrant and smells very nice while brewing. The taste is light and tasty. The tea leaves come in a resealable packet, which is great, but make sure to seal it properly, to avoid the fragrance being lost. To be safe, I would store the whole packet in an airtight container or a metal tin, which is a bit inconvenient, but better than wasting the tea leaves.States to be low caffeine, so not caffeine free, if that's a concern for anyone.£4.99 for 150g is quite expensive. I'm not a big tea connoisseur, so I can't judge if this is worth it, but for me, with there are cheaper alternatives that I don't find too different, this feels expensive for what it is, otherwise, this is pretty good.

Subtle or strong, this is great tasting natural loose leaf Green Tea.
The media could not be loaded. First thoughts:ProsA big punch of flavour. Can be brewed in quite small quantities and still delivers big taste.Aromatic.Low caffeine alternative to tea.ConsTannins can be a little sharp if brewed in large quantities but personally I like that, if it’s too much, then try a little lemon in it.Smells and tastes great, easy to use with a cage or infuser, and looks nice if you’re loading it into a bowl for self serving. You don’t need a lot of this stuff so I’d recommend starting off with small amounts and building up until you achieve your desired taste.Details and things to note (See pictures and video):150g bag of loose leaf Green Tea from Sri Lanka, they suggest using 1-2 tsp per 300 ml of hot water (my preference) or the same in 200ml of cold water for cold brews. I enjoyed it at this strength but it was surprisingly stronger than I was expecting.Final thoughts:A great green tea which should last you a good few cups, and more so if you like your tea a little more on the lighter side.Happy to recommend this for use in infusers as the leaf material is quite large and easy to remove from filters and baskets. If you’re dropping them straight into water then they’re large enough to avoid, and there’s minimal small particles to worry about.

Ceylon Loose Green Tea
At the time of writing this review, the price for this 150g of Ceylon green tea is £4.99.For £4.99, I would say the green tea is worth the price. The teas can be been and they have been properly treated and stroaged. First time opening the bag, you can still get a strong sense of the leaves. The tea still produce somehow strong taste and smell, after refilling for three times.

Great Green Tea !
I recently tried "Earl Grey" (my all time favourite) from this brand and loved it, so I decided I would also try their green tea also.It comes well packed in a resealable packet which is a good start. We 'discovered' a great teapot about 7 years ago which lets you infuse the tea but you never get any dregs of any description in your cup, which at one time made us switch to tea bags just for a while. We have tried teas and blends from all over the world and my friend in America sends me the occasional package of 8 different teas from 'Chad's tea room' (there are other tea rooms by the way !) to try and I must admit there are very few teas we don't like, and I love trying all the varieties, this is despite me liking strong tea and my wife liking weak tea - so she pours her tea out very shortly after adding the water, whereas I like mine to brew, but NOT stew so you get that really bitter aftertaste. When we added the water we cold see that it turned a nice golden brown colour. We both like milk in your tea, no matter what tea it is, but I must say that we only put one teaspoon of fully skimmed milk (0.1 – 0.3% fat) in though, although I have occasionally tried tea with no milk but I still prefer just that small amount really. The tea was very pleasant to taste, nice and refreshing, with no heavy bitter aftertaste, I don't know about any health benefits, I just eat/drink sensibly, and health benefits that might come along is OK by me though.I was told that Cranberry juice has health benefits, and I love cranberry sauce, but there is no way I could drink cranberry juice,.. it's rancid to my taste buds, as they say' each to their own'.We both loved this tea though and I can see us drinking 2 cups a day of it between the Earl Grey as a pleasant change, so 5 stars from us both on this tea.

Ok as green tea. good value.
We use green tea a lot. A little of this tea goes a long way, as it should not be strong when drinking it. I also boil water to 90 deg and let it cool slightly before pouring over the tea. It is not the best tasting green tea we have tried but is is perfectly ok. It is good value, as quality green tea is very expensive.
