Precious sculpture restored!
First time ordering this kit to repair a broken clay sculpture. It is easy to follow the directions. The sculpture is looking incredible. The gold bonding agent is beautiful! I am not finished but I am including a photo.

Great Kit, Difficult Activity
Great kit, provides everything you need to perform a repair. I would recommend having a few more pairs of gloves on hand if you need to glue many pieces together as you might want to take some breaks and need new gloves. Here's some of the lessons I'd learned while working with this kit:1. I preferred brushing the gold powder onto still tacky resin rather than mixing the dust in the resin directly. This made the gold colour brighter and shinier. I'd suggest trying both ways on the practice cup.2. Mix a small amount of the resin at a time, just enough for a thin coat between two pieces. Hold the two pieces together until the resin is hard but tacky, check frequently by poking the left over resin in the mixing cup with the mixing stick (brush with gold before it completely hardens if preferred).3. Don't try to glue more than two pieces together in one mix of epoxy until you get more familiar with the setting times and how you need to support them while they cure. Rushing to try and add another piece means it is more likely for the glued pieces to come out of alignment.Good luck!

Love it!
The kit came with everything I needed. Read the instructions! Beautiful box! I did two bowls and the second turned out better. I also watched videos on YouTube. I prepared a small amount of glue to do one piece at a time. This activity was so meaningful to me.

Works extremely well!
I was very happy with this kit! We brought this 4’.5” vase from Japan after living there for years. We were heartbroken when a large piece of the lip broke off. The break was clean but there were some pieces that were just dust. The kit showed up within 2 days. We read the instructions as well as viewed the online information. The kit comes with a practice sake cup you can break and repair. We didn’t do this as the cup was too nice to break but it is a good idea if you are hesitant because the included epoxy sets incredibly fast - the instructions say 4 min but we had about a minute - we may have mixed too much. Anyway we followed the directions and the results were fantastic as you can see in the photos. I circled the repair in the last photo so you can see it clearly. We have a LOT of material left so a smaller kit might have been better and we didn’t need the epoxy putty at all - you really only need it to reconstruct missing pieces - but it won’t go to waste we are inviting friends over to a ‘Make your own’ party and will be making Christmas ornaments with the left over material. I would say our DIY skills are ordinary to low - no special skills required and no items needed for repairs beyond what is on the kit!

found it difficult to use
I guess I am not artistic enough, even tough I am a potter. Maybe with practice it would look better. It smeared too thick of a line when attempting to flatten it out smooth. It would be beautiful if it turned out like the picture on the box lol
