Pebeo Gilding Wax, Antique

I cannot believe I just stumbled on this. This is by far my favorite paint product. Spray painting metallic, I don't think so!!This reminds me of rub n buff, which I also just started using, but I think this is much easier to use. I purchased 2 colors (empire and antique gold), unsure which I needed, and I ended mixing both. This mirror was a brown wood color, painted black, added the molding I purchased here, mixed the 2 colors to give me this finish, and used a cheap chip brush to apply. It's absolutely stunning! The best part, it dries in under 20 min, has the most amazing sheen, works on wood like its metal, and a little goes a long way. For reference this mirror is 3ft x 6 ft. So far I've used this on a few other projects and I have at least 2/3 of the product left. This product will forever be in my arsenal.

A very little amount goes a long way. It’s a beautiful color! The price isn’t too beautiful though.

Easy to apply, provides an attractive finish and is much simpler than prep and paint. No time needed for it to dry or present handling concerns.

This was a way to add sparkle to our project. Worked easily.

I do a lot of chalk/mineral painting, and this formula is the best I’ve used for gilding details. It’s easy to use with a rich shine.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this wax to refinish an old mirror and it did not disappoint. I painted the mirror back and brushed on the product. I also used it on a metal shelf. It covers great and the color was stunning!

I was surprised by the quality and usefulness of this wax. The door pulls were silver, took seconds and now they are gold. I’m finding tons of uses for this… I love it!
