Easy to read and sturdy
Gave this as a gift and the recipient loves it. The locking mechanism stays locked, which is apparently rare for tape measures.

Small and easy to read
Really like these little tapes around the shop. Self locking. Can't say they're better than others I've bought from Lowe's etc. but never dissapointed in these so buy it.

Magnets are great but fall off
I bought this for the magnets because I do a lot of measuring metal and it sticks strong which is great. However, those magnets fall off fast. I buy a new one when both fall off and this is probably my 5th one and one of the magnets fell off within the first hour using it. And when that's the whole reason I buy it, it's kind of pointless.

Great Tape Measure
Bought this to do little jobs around the house and overall its a great tape measure. Markings are bright and bold for easy reading. It fits nicely in your hand and won't easily fall or slip. And the magnets are a nice touch, they really assist you with keeping the tape measure in place to get an accurate measure. I would definitely buy it again.

The end hook comes loose
The rivots that hold the end hook on come loose allowing it to slide back-and-forth making inaccurate measurements up to a quarter inch

Superb Quality
I’m doing a gas technician program where we do lots of measurements for piping systems. Although the class has tape measures we can use I tend to get confused when the measurements get to the 8 1/4, 3/8 and 7/8 etc and it is critical we get the measurements correct for our grading. The professors said they don’t care if we use this type of tape measure if it’s easier for us and seeing that I’ll be using this frequently for the rest of my school life and career the price made sense to me.Now for the quality. First things first is it is heavy, and I absolutely love that. Don’t ask why but I just prefer heavier tools. I’m not new to using measuring tapes and this is undoubtedly the best quality one I’ve ever held in my hands. Clear measurements, solid locking for the tape and the magnetic feature at the end of the tape is really nice too.

WOW ! Komelon Tape Measure
Definitely the best tapes we have ever come across. Superior to anything else we have used in the past, including the popular “best” name brands. Strong, rugged, simple to read, marked fraction increments, fluorescent outer case, attractively designed and reasonably priced. Excellent. Highly recommended.

Perfect 👌
Really love it. Bought 2 for the length (I needed a 30 foot for my new project) and wanted a second one for my partner in crime. She will not have to learn how to read it and will feel more confident in helping me.

Great Tape Measure
I own an old tape measure that also has the fractional markings on it that go to 1/16 inch which is really like because it makes for quick measuring and don’t really have to think about the fraction but the reel was jamming and wasn’t retracting and also it was just an old tape measure I knew it was time for a new one. I personally was looking a replacement tape measure with the same fractional markings but could only find ones with up to 1/8 inch. I looked at many different ones before ending with up purchasing this one.Advantages:- The color of it is great in my opinion because if have a lot of tools and have many different places it is very visible and easy to see because of the neon color. It will most likely stand out in a drawer full of stuff and I personally hate when I cannot find my tape measure when you need it.- The fractional markings are great, it is very easy to read. I personally would prefer the fractional markings due to speed and ease of use because it sucks sometimes when you cannot remember the fractional markings so it makes reading and quicker measuring. I also think it is a good learning tool if someone doesn’t know the fractional markings if helps them remember.- The numbers are easy to read and are large enough without squinting or needing to get the glasses to read the numbers.Disadvantages:- This is my personally opinion because my old one went down to 1/16 inch but I do wish that this tape measure did the same because it makes for more precise measuring but I completely understand you cannot have everything.- Standard Only (SAE). I do wish as we are in Canada and use the metric system it was also a metric tape measure and not just a SAE because sometimes it is useful to measure in metric rather than SAE so it good to have both but I do prefer SAE as I am more comfortable using it as metric could get complicated. As would be an example would be PSI which is SAE and KPA which is metric, most use the PSI because it makes more sense and easier to read but even though we are in Canada. It just makes more sense as it is easier but it would be nice to have both.- The magnet at the end, it wouldn’t say this is a disadvantage because it is nice to have a magnet on the end to assist you when you are by yourself as my old one didn’t have that but the magnet is not very strong. It is not as a strong magnet as a more known brand would be. Example: I was helping do a chain link fence and wanted the dimension of the old one and used this tape measure and it was only 4’5’’ fence but the magnet couldn’t hold that so it was disappointed.I would say I am liking the tape measure, it seems like good quality and it retracts smooth without any issues at this time. The stop hold well and won’t let go without releasing it so hopefully this tape measure lasts as long as my old one even though is made cheaper. I cannot comment on how long this will last but I hope it lasts a long time. I would recommend this tape measure to any DIY’er but if you’re a professional contractor I would research another tape measure as this one is probably not the true quality you’re looking or hoping for but that’s not say you should purchase it as it is a good tape measure just lacking.
