I did it!
My son is away at university & he was a little homesick. I sent this light saber as an early birthday present( a month early). He loves it, his dorm mates love it. They have been play fighting in the forest at every opp...It makes all the right sounds when activated, the colours are vivid and he loves it!

Incredibly fun; may the force be with you!
This light saber by EKSEKOCO is great for adults - personally, I would say it's more of an adult 'toy' and because of its size is better for adults. The handle is very weighty and is made from a durable aluminium material - it feels incredibly premium. The handle itself has a button which allows you to change it's functionality, the manual is easy to read and understand. The saver itself is charged through USB C - a cable is provided however no plug. The saber has 9 different in-built sounds, such as the Princess and Darth Vader - replicating the sound of their own personal saber. The saber has three inbuilt volume settings, Low/High/Mute.You are also able to adjust the colour of the saber and enable other functions such as 'flash/strobe'. There are three different lighting effects built into the saber, unstable/steady/rainbow - you can also adjust the colour for personal preference. The saber is incredibly smooth and balances to use; it's ergonomically designed and is comfortable to hold.Instructions are clear, easy to understand - setting up the saber ready for use is easy.Absolutely love the look and feel of the saber; very fun to play with, the saber bar itself feels durable and can be used to duel with others with a saber. When you hit another saber, the saber will make noises to emulate the dual or you can press the button on the handle to activate the sound/flash.Highly recommended - absolutely over the moon with this, why didn't I get a saber sooner? There are so many cool features built into this light saber; it's one of the funnest things I've owned for a while.

Turned on once and died, heartbroken child!
The look and feel of this is fab, and when my son opened it on his birthday he was made up. It was exactly what he wanted, the features were really cool and it felt nice and sturdy. Off he went to school. Came home and low and behold it wouldn’t turn on.It would say ‘charging’ and ‘ready’ but do nothing else. We tried everything. Also reading more reviews and others were having the exact same issue, which was reassuring that I wasn’t going crazy.Item returned 4 days ago, it’s been received to the return location however this is yet to be acknowledged on the Amazon app.I’m really disappointed, £80 is so much money for essentially a toy. Hope to get a refund shortly and buy lego!So disappointed for my son and I’m upset it ruined his birthday

Amazing fun
If your a fan of the star wars films then you are gonna love these light sabres. Some small assembly is required you need to push the plastic sabre into the metal handle and then secure in place with little stubby screws with a tiny Alan key all provided. It comes with some simple instructions to work the light sabre everything is controlled with the power button on the metal handle you hold it in for different amounts of times to select the settings you can change the colour the light sabre light up the volume of the sounds it can wake swishing sound effect and play different phrases and bits of music it really does do more than what I was expecting. The light sabre was alot longer than I was expecting and if you have 2 of these you can unscrew a cap on the bottom of the handle and screw 2 lightsabres together end to end this makes it really huge you need alot of space to do this so not to hit or break anything but it's so much fun to do especially when your child is 5y.o and it ends up twice the size of him haha.Worth every penny would be amazing for fancy dress costume, cos-play going to comic-con. Or even just put on display on the wall altho that's not as fun as playing with it.

The Force is strong in this one!
The media could not be loaded. The Eksekoco Dueling Light Saber is a good alternative to the official Star Wars branded lightsabers, which are not only a tad more expensive, but also battery operated.Firstly, the build quality and finish on these are top-notch, It's well balanced and extremely sturdy. The metal hilt has a good weight to it and feels smooth. It incorporates indents and grooves that give it that authentic look. The blade is made of a strong, durable thick plastic that is made to take impacts so that you can duel with confidence knowing that the blade won't bend or break. The blade does, of course, have a rounded tip, as to avoid any accidental poking and is well illuminated when fired up. The hilt houses the USB charger port and a single button that controls not only the lights but also the modes, colours, sounds and volume.Initially, it can be a bit tricky trying to figure out when, either on or off, and for how long, either 1,2 or 3 seconds, you need to keep the button pressed to access its various modes. Even now, after owning the Saber for a little over a month, I still find it a bit of a challenge. Unfortunately, the supplied instructions will leave you more confused than enlightened.Nonetheless, the Saber is indeed good fun. Forget the kids, even I've been prancing around the house, brandishing the Saber imitating Luke Skywalker! All I need now is a Jedi outfit. Overall score: 4 out of 5
