High Sierra [Blu-Ray] (English audio. English subtitles)

Brilliant picture, fantastic extras, a first class release by the criterion collection.

Haven't seen this for years at least 30 but not disappointed Bogart shows how it was done a true classic.

5 stars for the content, but not sure what is going on with the quality control for this Blu-ray! Mine arrived with a water damaged insert and scratches and fingerprints on both the discs. I would have complained that it was used, but it was still in its original plastic wrapping with the Criterion sticker intact, so had not been resealed.I didn't bother returning as it was an import and still played fine, but thought it was worth mentioning

I assume you know the film so I won't go into that now. But I will say that I have waited YEARS for a decent blu ray of this classic and Criterion are the one company you'd want releasing this. This is a region A set so make sure you have a multi region player !! Picture quality is fantastic as is the sound. Couldn't have wanted more. Tons of extras and the best this film will ever look, an essential purchase and well worth the money !!!
