Not for me
I got this book on a recommendation and did not care for the word diet so ignoring that bought it anyway as I am interested in a well written book on raw food & nutrition - not diet.I was excited to get this book but was sorely disappointed. Humans are visual creatures especially when it comes to food, yet this book is entirely devoid of any pictorial examples or visual serving suggestions. That can be a stumbling block in confidence when venturing into a new area of food preparation.Reading the author's introduction made me realise this book is not what I thought, doesn't meet the health standards of today, the science or my own personal sensibilities. It encourages consumption of meat, eggs, dairy and honey despite the fact we are in the middle of a pandemic precisely because of humans unnecessary consumption of animal products as well as colony collapse of bees our most precious pollinators - stealing their sole food source, therefore, makes little sense to me.75% (3 in 4) of all newly emerging infectious diseases are as a result of our animal product consumption. Thats a whopping statistic. The science in there doesn't hold up either and there is plenty that prove our consumption of animal products is doing us harm before you get to the environmental impact and infectious diseases. This book is not a good book in my opinion with all that we now know and in truth have known for many years but ignored (the first coronavirus was found in 1937 in chicken). So no, I do not recommend this book to anyone with an ounce of conscious, intelligence or care for the planet that sustains us.

Great intro to Natalia's work; but not the best intro to raw food
I am a big fan of Natalia's approach to getting well and whole person transformation; her work begins with the body but has evolved over the years to encompass a shift in one's very being to become more sovereign and aligned with natural laws. This is her first book and an insightful, alternative approach to the raw food diet. She controversially permits and even encourages a range of cooked foods and animal derived foods and yet more controversially yokes her dietary approach to colon cleansing ie receiving regular professionally administered colonics.I had a copy of it some years ago and it made no sense to me at all; but several years along and well established in raw foods, juicing and fasting; it now makes sense; essentially she is promoting her diet as a long term systemic cleanse (detoxification) hence levels to move through and an increased ability to enjoy and subsist on green juice for periods at a time! As suchI think this book could be confusing for beginners in raw food; who would do better to look at Fully Raw Kristina's book which is much more accessible and easy to start on.I would say that I find Natalia's audios much more directly helpful and informative than her books, she has a range of downloads on her website 'Detox the World'.

The Raw Food Detox Diet
This is a really good starting point for those interested in Raw Food. The information and meal plans offer realistic solutions for exploring this growing area of healthy diets. This was one of the first books I read on Raw Food; it was inspiring and encouraged me to try out the recipes. There are some very 'extreme' raw foodists out there, Natalia Rosa is NOT one of them. If you want a investigate raw food, start with this book, you wont be disappointed!

Bit confusing and complex
I bought this book as part of a collection whilst I was studying to become a nutritionist. I have to say the book is extremely complicated and difficult to break down. I quite enjoyed some of the recipes and the basics are there but overall not easy for the regular man to get into.

too complicated
I won't be using this as its really complex - the 1st page I opened had a section on giving yourself a rectal enema - not the recipie I was looking for! I think youd be a hard core raw foodie to find this of any use.
