Easy to install, got rid of most echo in apartment
There were a few things I was looking for while buying a product like this.1. Toxicity. This foam has no smell that would indicate it gives off toxic chemicals. Since it has no smell, I have no problem installing it in the area where I sleep.2. Adhesion. I did experience some of the foam falling off after a while (12 hours) but remounting them and pressing them hard against my textured wall helped with that. They're pretty light tiles so if they do come down they won't hurt you (it's just foam.) I'm surprised how well these stick to my textured wall.3. Quality. These tiles helped to dampen the echo in the area I watch TV. I treated the wall behind my couch and behind the TV speakers. They're thick enough to stop most of the sound reflection. I do still get some echo but I suspect that's due to my tile floors, so I'll probably get some thick area rugs to solve that problem. So does this do what I wanted it to, which was to get rid of some of the echo in my living room? 👍4. Usability. While most of the foam expanded as expected, some of them didn't. At first I tried leaving them out longer, and that didn't help. The solution was to first sprinkle water on them and then pull up the spheres. You will hear the foam detaching and coming up if you do this so I suspect what's happening here is it's sticking to itself while compressed. Once I put some water on it and pulled the foam up, I had no more flat foam. The problem here is that if you get a totally flat piece of foam you have to pull up every sphere on it. This did make my finger and thumb become raw after doing five or six of these. The other issue is that because you're putting water on it, if you happen to accidentally get some on the back, the protective material keeping the adhesive is weak so the water will soak right through and wash off some of the adhesive. I think this is why some of my tiles fell off the wall.5. Aesthetics. The foam looks nice. While it's not all cut perfectly, the spheres do line up if put next to each other so it doesn't take away from the look of it.

Some issues, but resolved in a timely manner! >>> SEE UPDATE!!!!
>>>>REVIEW UPDATE!!!! BE WARNED!!!!<<<<DO NOT stick these to a surface that you may need to eventually remove them from, ie painted wall, as they WILL NOT COME OFF!!!! Just sold my house and need to break down my walk-in closet booth and it's going to take me two days to get this all off. I never expected the adhesive to be this damn good. Yes, it's my mistake/fault. Hopefully I can help someone not make the same mistake.>>>>END OF UPDATE<<<<When looking for more foam to sound treat my studio, I was looking for something that I could get to stick to my textured walls. My previous purchases I have tried various ways to adhere them to the walls and they still fall off due to the texture of the foam. I ordered this product because it has the self adhesive backing and it works great! They stick very well and are not coming off any time soon :) They also look great! There are a couple downfalls though which are as follows. First issue is that they aren't all cut perfectly between the ridges, so if you're trying to get a nice consistently aligned wall treatment like I was (OCD), it can be a challenge! They do still look great when installed though.Second issue, even after following the directions to get them to expand out of their vacuum packing, there are about 1/4 of them that have not expanded completely even after 3 days. On the bright side, the vendor was very responsive to the issues and had a replacement pack sent to me for free within a couple days. Thanks for the great customer service!

COMPLETE GARBAGE
TL;DR: Don't buy this, it's awful. The seller is also awful, bad customer service. If you buy this you are just gambling getting lucky with something acceptable. If you buy this and are unhappy with the product, GOOD LUCK trying to work with this seller, they are garbage customer service. Not only are they a terrible seller but the products has glaring issues. The instructions are not sufficient to bring them back to shape after being vacuumed sealed and deformed.Quality is very low, the adhesive is trash. Doesn't stay straight, deforms when stored. The foam material is not just bad, but WRONG FOR THE PURPOSE; It is not dense, and made of low quality foam. It comes apart when you try and expand it manually so that it will stretch to shape, and you will have to try and fix it manually because as I said, the instructions to restore the shape after receiving it in vacuum packed shipping is TERRIBLE.It will not do ANYTHING for soundproofing/dampening; there are much higher quality products for sale at places like Guitar Center and in person they can advise you if what you are buying will actually suit your needs, because unless you have experience and credentials for building studios/designing sound design environments, there are many very basic things you'll get wrong and the store associates can point you in the right direction. But let me give you one good piece of advice to start with: AVOID THIS PRODUCT.

So easy to use
I created a sound booth in a 5x5 closet. I keep my PC tower under my desk and to eliminate noise from the PC I put up these panels under the desk. It was so easy to cut and trim where needed. The adhesion worked easily and I was finished with the project in less than a half hour. Four stars because not every tile plumped up and I had to trim off a row here and there.

Seller’s “Help” email doesn’t exist
Everything is fine about the product, but if you have issues, the instructions tell you to contact them through an email that doesn’t exist. So if you have panels that don’t expand after weeks of waiting, the seller just doesn’t want to deal with you. They take your money and run. The panels that did expand and I put up on my wall are working fine. But less than half of them have actually expanded enough.
