Q: mine keeps shifting , how do I get it to stay put exactly as I set it up?

You can reduce the pressure of the water at the faucet by turning it down a little. Or you can purchase the pins that hold hoses in place. If you decide on the pins you need to place them so that people can't trip on them and place them without puncturing your hose. I like this hose because it isn't flimsy. I have used mine each season since I bought it. I coil it up at the end of the growing season. I've never had a problem with mine.

Q: Can the hose be repaired if accidently cut by a shovel?

Yes, you can repair it. There are lots of hose/sprinkler fittings that you can buy at a hardware store or garden center. My husband ran over ours with the lawnmower. He repaired it but our 50 ft hose is now 30 ft! :D

Yes, it is a good one. It is a heavy duty sprinkler hose. Hold the water to the end & gives off an even sprinkle of water the end.
