As advertised
Looks and feels like genuine stainless steel, is not magnetic but that doesn't rule out steel if it's of the austenitic type. Nice weight, fits a little loose in my stock portafilter (DeLonghi Stilosa, if you're entry level like me), but it does its job, a faster setup with less mess.

Coffee dosing funnel fair price, good quality and fits 51 mm basket perfect
This little 51 mm coffee funnel is excellent for the price. First time buying/using so I have nothing to compare with, but this feels great, well machined, works great, weight feels great. I only have a cheap K-Mart Espresso coffee machine, but have been watching lots of YouTube videos about how to make the best coffee at home, machines ect (James Hoffmann eg) and have gotten interested in the little steps of the process that make a difference.SO! instead of jumping in and buying a quality/pro machine, I thought I'd spend a small amount of $ and get some tools that they use on the YouTube 'How To's'.Professional coffee machines seem to have 58 mm baskets, but I found out you can get 51 mm tools that will fit the basket of most home machines, i.e. the K-mart machine I have. And YES, this 51 mm funnel fits and works GREAT.SO! with a few tools as shown in the photo, I'm exploring the techniques of the steps that they suggest to follow in order to get the optimum Espresso extraction that tastes better. Are they GIMMICKS? I don't know, but the Funnel, Distributor, a SS Tamper (which by the way is nice and heavy and feels nice), mat, the funnel to minimise coffee spill as you fill the basket, a needle distributor, and a small spray water bottle did not cost much and it's a bit of fun trying out the steps. For me, I thought it was a reasonable step to take in order to learn a bit more before I took the decision / OR NOT, to upgrade and buy a quality espresso coffee machine. At the moment, the K-Mart espresso coffee machine cost me less than $100 and to my pallet makes pretty good coffee - YOU CAN SEE in the picture the nice Crema that it makes, and it tastes not bad - I just have it as a Long Black at home. However, it's probably chalk and cheese to the taste of a professional coffee, which I do get when I'm out, but I always buy a Flat White so can't really compare to my home made long black.Anyway, thought I'd share a review if anyone out there was wondering about getting started on the journey of learning to make better coffee at home and only had a 51 mm basket/machine.This selection of tools didn't cost that much, and they are all pretty good quality for me as a 'Newbie'.All the best, Mike
