Not a flat level spot on my entire property, steep isn’t the word for it, its almost straight up and down. “Turf saver” tires all these riding mowers come with are completely useless, all they do is spin and destroy the grass on even the slightest incline. I knew I needed a 4 wheel drive riding mower but NO ONE makes one that’s reasonably priced, Bobcat makes one that starts at $10,000 and John Deere makes one that starts at $13,000, I couldn’t even find a used one for sale at any price. I don’t need an under powered $13,000 mini front end loader, I just need to mow grass on steep hills. WHY DOES NO ONE MAKE A REASONABLY PRICED 4X4 RIDING MOWER?????So I bought a nice John Deere 22HP D130 riding mower for $500 and these tires for the rear of it thinking I’d at least give it a try. These tires saved me $13,000 I thought I was going to have to spend on a 4X4 mower. They climb straight up the hills without a slip or problem in the world and don’t spin out and destroy my grass like the “turf savers” do. I put some other deep tread tires on the front and now I can turn or stop even when going down hill, before I’d just slide to the bottom. These tires should come standard on all riding mowers, period.Its just a bonus how they also make your riding mower look like an actual tractor instead of a funny shaped golf cart. The only problem I had wasn’t a fault of these tires, my $30 Harbor Freight small tire changer didn’t work for them because they’re too wide for it to fit and I couldn’t get the first side over the rim so I had to pay a tire shop $10 each to mount them for me.

I knew going in that buying Carlisle tires was a good plan, but these are outstanding! I put these on a 2020 Cub Cadet Ultima ZT1-50, because I'm cutting just over an acre of lawn that sits at more than 30°! The Carlisle TurfMasters the mower came with were useless on this, because the only way to cut it is uphill! These tires make that zero-turn stick to that hill like a limpet! I will admit I had to relearn how to turn because they WILL gouge if you lock a wheel to turn!VERY impressed with them - definitely worth the money, and I'll buy 'em again if I need 'em again!

Huge improvement in traction. We got hills so really needed this and old tires leaked out sideway anyway. Price was good. Problem is with the deck all the way up, the tread lugs hit the deck. Gonna try try to make adjustments to bring deck forward a half inch. Might just have to mow everything on low from now on.

I was having a great deal of traction difficulty with my Cub Cadet XT1 LT50 with the standard turf tires...These tires fit my existing wheels perfectly and solved the traction problem instantly.I highly recommend these tires.

Major upgrade over the OEM John Deer Turf Saver tires, especially if you need some additional grip going up hills or on went turf/grass. Definitely takes a bit more muscle to get these installed on the wheels; but worth it in the end.

Turned my Husqvarna 54" mower into a mountain goat. The traction is almost unbelievable on steep hills. Excellent tires....highly recommended. I had a tire shop mount them for me.

I spent more time driving around looking for two of these, then it took them to ship these to me. i got them in ONE DAY
