Great for dipping dumplings, and add just a few drops in any Asians soup.....very good!! I also put this on Sichuan noodles . Cost on Amazon is pretty high, but this is where I first bought it to try it . Today I drove to the Asian market down from my work, and paid $1.09 per bottle .....I didn't know we had an Asian market so close to my job :) .

My wife is Chinese, & when I traveled to Shanghai with her, this type of black vinegar was very common; almost every household & grocery store had this. You can use it, along with soy sauce & sugar for cooking various meats, & for dipping. The flavor is very unique, like nothing I've had here in the States. I'm happy Amazon made this available!

Vinegar was packaged well but the tops to both bottles were cracked to varying degrees (still sealed as it's a flip top). Both bottles were packaged over a year ago (they expire in a year but it's no where near fresh--the bottle we opened already had sediment forming at the bottom).
