These are really good oven mitts.Finding equipment to cook and bake with cast iron safely takes safety to another level. The cloth mitts that work fine for removing aluminum bread pans and baking sheets from the oven are not safe for working with 500 degree, 20 pound dutch ovens and brimming 12 inch frying skillets. It doesn't matter how thick the cloth is, it can't insulate for very long, and cheap cloth, though thick, will burn through in an instant. I found out the hard way.These mitts have thick, heat insulating silicon across 100% of the surface area. You can pick up anything incorrectly and get burned. Even though I have large hands I wish the mitts were a little smaller. Smaller would make it easier to grasp and safely remove lids that don't have handles from large dutch oven combo cookers. Awkward though these may be sometimes, the silicon is thick enough to give me enough time to grapple with dutch oven lids and skillet handles before the heat gets to be too much.Avoid second degree burns and buy these.

Purchased these to keep some nice pot holders in the kitchen. Hubby used them on the smoker and they cleaned up beautifully! The foot is perfect for everyone and the heat resistance is spot on.

These oven mitts are so soft on the inside and tough on the outside. They grip pots and pans nicely and any splatters can be washed right off. A necessity for every kitchen!

I had a previous pair in black that lasted for years but the inside was getting dingy looking so I bought a new pink pair to match my kitchen...the color is just lovely and they are very well made, nice and thick so you can handle very hot pans with no problem.

Have had these over a year. They work great and offer great heat resistance. My only gripe id that they are very big. They feel looser on the insde and the outer diameter is very big. They should slim them down a bit.

These Gorilla Grip Silicone Oven Mitts are surprisingly thin, lightweight, and flexible, but they work really well. You have to think the first job of an oven mitt is to protect you from the heat, and these deliver. Beyond that, you need to be able to manipulate hot items safely. The mitts these are replacing for me had individual finger covers, which I liked. These don't, but they are so flexible they're still easy to get a good grip with. Highly recommended!

These work well! Both my husband and I have used them, and we love them. They are comfortable, and they protect well from the heat. Even in the thumb crease, it protects one from getting burned. My mom came to visit, and she loved them too. I guess Santa knows one thing for her stocking! I highly recommend!

Impressive! I tried them on 450 degree oven container. The heat insulation was excellent but what surprised me was the pliability to ensure grip. I haven't had to clean them but looking at the block pattern on them, it might require a thorough cleaning occasionally but the effectiveness of the mitts is excellent. oh! The cleaning certainly will not be onerous as it will just take soap and water.I would certainly recommend these mitts .
